This has been said many times and I will say it myself. PC Gamer and other "news" sites are only giving Mordhau backlash because they have a hatred to seeing white males dominant in anything. For example, being the only race in the game.

I've been having problems with the game not inputting my mouse clicks since release. I have used 4 different mice and different USB ports.

I have since got too annoyed to just pretend it doesn't exist and tried to at least prove if it's me or the game and here's what I found -

At the end of the gameplay clip you can see my look up to start an overhead chamber but instead just stand there and look at the incoming weapon. I was running a Macro recorded at the same time as the gameplay and it records me scrolling (my overhead bind) being inputted 5 times.

So this is clearly a game problem. What can I do about it?

I know I've been complaining for the last 2 years but at this point I don't even know if I wanna play the Souls franchise when it's released. Games are horrible. Really not much RPG about it, it's super linear and repetetive. The fighting system is clunky and unresponsive, and it is not hard in a way that the game actually has intelligent AI or requires planning in any way. What makes it "hard" is again, the clunky combat. All Bosses are pretty much the same, you just roll arround until they are in their "vulnurable" phase, and then attack the shit out of them until they start swinging again. Repeat that for some minutes and you've got all your bossfights in a nutshell. Normal enemies are really just boring trash that are just there for the sake of being there. They serve no purpose other than keeping the player busy between the bosses. Infact, all Souls games are exactly the same. Merely a reskin of one another, with somewhat updated graphics. They play the same otherwise. The whole franchise really is targetet towards children that heard stories about "hard games" from their older siblings / parents. They want to be part of that aswell but fail to realize that games back then weren't hard in a frustrating way, but in a challenging one. How sad is that?

no you cant see because theres no collision on the rubble therefor the beartraps can be placed underneath the rubble and be completely invisible from all angles

Stab feints being arguably less readable than in Chiv, but justified by ez-mode chambers, so that the optimal way of playing is to attempt a chamber on every single stab? What is even the point of stabs anymore? Is that ideal or just lazy?

Shields being as dumb as they were in Chiv, with same non-solution Tornbanner implemented?

And then 1vX being a riposte-spam fest where the 1 is forced to just passively read these broken stab feints without being able to use the mechanic that makes them reasonable, chambers, because chambers still have no protection or use in 1vX. But hey, the 1 can trade hits. That should be enough to get over the fact that they can't use the main tactic the game is based around.

All weapons feel almost identical, while Chiv, for the shit show it was, had all weapons feel unique and reward different playstyles. Tornbanner pulled that off by accident. Yet in Mordhau, with mechanics intending to do just that, like no-combo weapons and no-flinch carving knife, weapon variety is miles worse.

Is this really what ya'll wanted Mordhau to be? Since you're saying that combat isn't a priority and you just wanna get Frontline out.
