I'm playing bass guitar for years, but now I decided to learn some guitar too, so I bought this.

The game would have a totally different feel with gunpowder weapons. It would look more modern. You don't expect to hear gunshots in a medieval battlefield. It's immersion-breaking for me.
Havoc you say "firearms were used during the era mordhau takes place in" but it doesn't work exactly like that. The devs are picking specific stuff from each era. They may have added some melee weapons from the late medieval period, but they doesn't have to also add everything that existed, at that time in history (or any other). The setting is not even in planet earth. It's an alternate world and it's history may differ. We are not looking for historical accuracy or realism here.
I also believe that it will have a bad impact on gameplay. Why adding new ways for someone to get kills, without having to be skillful with a melee weapon? It lowers the skill ceiling and has cancer potential.

We are still talking about archery and its potential hazards and you suggest more ranged cancer? It's a melee game ffs. It's not fun to lose half of your health before closing in on your opponent. Makes battle unfair and random. It also lowers the skill ceiling.

If you fail to parry an attack in time you already get punished by taking a hit. Why should you get punished by taking 2 hits instead of 1?

I agree. Of course, if you don't parry correctly you should be punished, but why 2 hits?
Wouldn't it be better if the parry lockout was reset after taking a hit, so you can react on the following attack? This would reduce fast weapon spamming.
