It's sure been a fun ride, big thanks to everyone who made it possible!
No thank you.
There was a change to the steam backend that doesn't match the setup in the engine, it'll be fixed by next patch.
You can hold your parries with shields.
Yes, I made the rapier model, the only reason it's that short is due to the balance, it's the exact same length of the bastard sword and making it longer would be too long for one hand balance.
Don't fuck with Kung Carl
Lamellar is considered medium (tier 2), Only full plate is considered heavy (Tier 3)
I'd say smallswords are a little bit too late but It's not out of the realm of possibility, I don't make weapons though.
I see some comments about historical accuracy, to put this endless back and forth to rest, In Mordhau we focus on bringing in armors from most parts of Europe spanning many different centuries, meaning that you will see armors that would never have faced each other in battle nor existed at the same time. We are not trying to make something that is historically accurate but many of our armors are based on things seen in the real world. As a rule of thumb, what belongs in our armor collection are armors that would appear grounded in reality to a layman.
Perhaps I didn't make this clear enough, all helmets, chests, and legs can be combined at will. It's when it comes to chest to arm, chest to shoulder, arm to hand, chest to skirt, Helmet to neck, legs to shoes there are limitations, parts besides your head, chest, and legs do not affect your stats.
Yes, we are not limiting when it comes to style sensibilities, there is only a limitation when the 3d models doesn't work together, for example some chests have arms as part of the chest model, in these cases we cant have interchangeable arms, as I said, most arms and chests can be combined, there are more restrictions when it comes to neck and helmet combinations, we try and have as many combos possible available but sometimes it's just a matter of square peg in a round hole.
That is not true, most arms works with most chests but all combinations are not possible since some armor combinations simply doesn't fit together, fit together as in the intersections clip and other such errors.
It is a tier 1 set and there is a tier 0 as well, You can use a tier 3 chest with the arms and thereby have the chest part of your outfit be tier 3.
Thanks everyone for the compliments!
Thank you!
