A few people having these issues.

Tried verifying cache or reinstalling? I also posted a guide here

All my settings are optimized for fps already, including not doing ones you suggest that actually reduce fps and increase input lag.

Which settings do that..? Aside from resolution scale and virtually pre-rendered frames which gives fps increase at cost of input lag.

If possible looking for someone with a low(ish) end PC to confirm FPS gain from bellow commands

r.MipMapLodBias 10
r.skeletalmeshlodbias 10

Using these commands on my rig gives me ~10fps more which is allot less than I would expect. Can anyone else confirm?

I'm having fps drops on Grad and Camp maps. The round will start great, smooth gameplay 90+ fps etc then after 5 minutes or so it'll drop as low as 40 fps for no apparent reason.

GTX 970

All drivers are up to date, including reinstalling gpu drivers after the latest Windows build.

As the post above says, you're likely getting bottlenecked by your GPU/VRAM. Given that you start with a higher FPS I would suggest disabling/lowering ragdoll count/stay time as well as lowering other settings. Also worth checking your GPU temps are stable.

I spent some time putting together a guide that helps with improving FPS.

It runs bad.... but it also runs good for an UE4 game XD.
I swear people need to stop using this engine.

My fps is good except for when.... it's not, where I get a random fps drop.

It's not the engine it's just that nowadays devs don't care about optimization as much as they used to.

If you're getting shit fps you might try to disable Steam's in-game overlay.

Good shout, can't believe I forgot to include this :)

Updated guide with info on disabling UI, cheers.

With those specs that's not an optimisation issue, defo something wrong there. Ensure in nvida control panel you have your GPU selected under "manage 3d settings -> global -> preferred graphics processor" and make sure "High performance nvidia processor" is selected.

I made a guide here, if you scroll to the bottom there's a section for nvidia CPanel changes, would be worth trying some of them. Goes without saying but also worth updating to latest drivers - nvidia released a faulty driver a few weeks back with CPU throttling issues.

SHAMELESS plug but I did make a guide here with a bunch of steps/tips to help with FPS, nothing life changing but will help squeeze 10-30 FPS maybe more.

Devs have updated their initial statement here as some of the bans were accidental as a result of false positives.

These are not VAC bans, but developer imposed game-bans, the result is the same though and at least devs are able to lift game-bans.

Updated: Added a few more nvidia control panel options, binding console key and assigning higher CPU priority permanently.

Can't you see the similar pattern right now? At release there was quite a lot (newbies) playing with shields and bows. If you play today, let's say 11 pm, on random official Frankfurt FL server, you will see maybe 5 ranged/shields and 50 two-handers.

What was the biggest thing in previous patch, again? Shield nerf.

Dunno what you're smoking mate but it's still shield spear/rapier central when I've played. Hard to say if there's less than there was when the game released, most likely there are less shield users because there's not as many completely new players.

I have Ryzen 1600X with a GTX 1060, but this game makes you think I have some 2010 potato.
All games I play on high settings, this one on low. It looks like sh*t, but it kinda feels smooth. Keeps solid 75fps
Some 64p are still clunky, but certainly not all.
Guess no love for AMD users... :[

Quite a few people commenting about poor AMD performance.

I posted a thread here with some tips for improving FPS, maybe worth trying :)

Rarely see more than 2 or 3 with people on, I also find only some of the servers perform well, a few I've played on were more laggy than the others/official servers.

Well, I finally caved and bought my own 48p server.

"Frame rate limit - 120 if on a 60Hz monitor, 143 on a 144hz monitor."

Why 143 on 144hz? Mistake maybe?

Nope, intentional.

If possible you'd want like 143.99 but can't do that on Mordhau (don't think).

Stutter harmonics occur as a function of framerate versus refreshrate.
For example, 135fps at 120Hz has 15 stutters per second.
However, [email protected] only has one stutter per second.

TL;DR

If you have 144Hz monitor but can achieve 150fps+ (never dropping bellow 144fps) then no need to cap it lower.

If you're NOT achieving that consistently then cap it at 143 or 142 for example. Same for if you're using V-SYNC, G-SYNC or FREESYNC.
