On the contrary Giru, you are absolutely GARBAGE at discussing balance. Your arguments frequently boil down to "X player beat me, this shouldn't happen due to my unsubstantiated belief that I'm the best player in the game thus Y needs nerfing". Often grandiose trumpesque stories are peddled of your discussions with high regarded players that haven't called you out on your ego "Believe me I've spent hours in discord with wizardish and boner purely regarding balance and brought some of the devs in for discussions" - lmao it's like you pulled it off his twitter. Then you'll try and move the debate into discord where it's you and ten yesmen agreeing over how hard balancing is, sprinkled with a healthy amount of trashtalk whilst also getting sidetracked with some pointless feature creeps e.g. add in a dubaxe that has longsword animations (still scratching my head over that one, what about fixing the core game?)

I haven't really put much effort into this current discussion but as a standard I believe chambers should be consistent even at close range otherwise it will be a 50/50 which I know you hate. The whole thing is reminiscent of people testing whether SOW's were readable at facehug and obviously that was a problem in chiv so likewise the chamber consistency is an issue here

The 15% cap is actually really good. Like Wizardish said somewhere, you only really notice it yourself if you're actively trying to casino drag someone

If you make the time window for chambers too tight then they'll become an obscure mechanic that's too risky to attempt and only occurs by accident as seen in M&B multiplayer, if they're too easy they become the best option in any given scenario and fights are dictated by who can chamber the most/who fails their chamber first. The only solution I can see is the chamber meter idea à la revenge mode from for honour but with chambers

Sound like good changes, just one thing

Crashes may occur on Alt+Tab during loading screens, use Borderless Fullscreen if it happens to you.

I wouldn't recommend using Borderless Fullscreen as it made my gameplay feel like I'm losing frames despite maintaining 144fps. It's better to play fullscreen and not alt-tab during loading.

I was somewhat in the same boat having went from super consistently chambering in slasher to hardly being able to chamber a thing in Mordhau but some practice has alleviated this. Making a passive aggressive post doesn't really help anyone though so it would have been more helpful to state something constructive like "the release animations could be made clearer in Mordhau". Also I'd be interested in knowing how far you took the skill ceiling in Slasher, Havoc. Kaway and I became pretty godlike at chambering and most hits were landed by cheesing how instant the combo overheads became if you accel'd them, using dodge and running in and out of facehug to land kicks/punish kick attempts which became a bit dull after a while. I also found plenty of times in Slasher where someone would go to punish my feint but I'd land my hit first anyway (as sometimes happens in Mordhau) so there may also be a case of nostalgia goggles kicking in
