Or maybe rework that in to a combat log, I personally would welcome option to turn it off but this can be very helpfull for new players to determine why they lost - what hit them.

If someone press enter to chat, introduce a second tab with combat log (as wow had for example)

I personally do not like how it's now. But it's nothing to make me rage really.

BTW Many changes introduced in this patch, thank you for your work. I feel it's gonna be good!

What is it then? HM?

MackDaddyPadanFain?
MackDaddy?
PadanFain?

You used to rock as MackDaddyPadanFain, right? HOW LOW HAVE YOU COME? I don't really know and I'm drunk, don't take this personally... BUT MYP OINT STANDS!

Edit: I forgot my on-topic point - Yes, indeed. I do myself believe as well that player interaction could be very imporant to the overall success... why??, you might say? Why i would claim such a strange statement??, you might think...

Wel let's take a random Joe in to consideration. He joins a server after buying the game, becouse he saw some cool videos of random ownage... - he then proceeds to get raped every fight he gets in to. He just started the game, he did not care about any tutorial, or videos from Stouty or any other video makers with less sexy voice. He gets frustrated and - upon seeing "lol u bad" "get rekt" "git gud" he click "delete from disk" on steam and for the rest of his days, he do not care about mordhau - he gets a degree and start a nice 2+ children family

Then there is a random John

Random John watch few videos before buying, he buy the game and proceed to get raped. But wait - the guys that raped him, actually are firendly and discuss with him why he suck so bad.

Random John learns bunch of things. He practice those in few fights and then proceed to rape our random Joe just before he delete the game.

Random John then proceed to buy every dlc and even chip in in a few developer organized tournaments. He never got any kids and died early from blood pressure - but that's not the point. The friendly attitude from the few players he actually got to encounter, made him to play the game longer - becouse he knew some tricks from them and it could make him feel like he pwns for a while.

Conclusion: Be friendly for bigger playerbase

Edit2: Who ever actually withold some tricks (generally known -- not some pro cool HOLY FUCK tips that only YOU came up with) is bad and actually fear to be beaten once he reveal his stupid tactic to anyone. And that's a fact

Marox gets a new haircut.

Forum users immidietly conduct research as to why.

It is decided that this change was unecessary, noone knew about it and more important things should be focused on.

Bunch of users defend this change, big flame war ensues.

Crush close the thread.

New threads are popping out demanding to know why the previous one was closed, no one even remembers Marox haircut anymore and influence of outside air pressure to feint readibility is discussed instead

Crush close the forum

I do think feints are mechanic that should be present, but it should be more situational and more costly I believe. More risk/reward thing. Not that you can pres this 5 times before landing the hit.

Separating playerbase by different rulesets servers is outright bad , it would end up just like chivalry low rank servers, where once the player reached 15 (i think it was) they joined normall server, fighting mostly people that
1) were around when there was no noob servers
2) had to get used to every mechanic
3) got gud

These players then proceeded to get raped, becouse they were only used to playing same noobs and they just simply quit.

And comparing Counter-Strikes main game mode with TDM is simply ridicoulus

Of course the game (cs) has way more depth on competitive level WAY MORE, don't get me wrong. I agree with your points. But it's still the same for casual player. You either go to place A or place B.

I said the feiting is not the sole reason, but from my POV it's the most common thing that makes the player go "fuck this"

As from my previous post, I'm well aware that the game is not released. That's why i said to the raging guy to wait and see what you have in store for us.

I just thought Lux said it well and commented on that.

I have this to say to everyone else: .....

This is true tho, lets not fool ourselves. Almost nobody is playing the game and it won't be just for lack of content and simple TDM. Countre-strike is the same TDM everytime as well and people still play it en masse. That being said, I'm not saying feinting is the sole reason. But it sure is the most visible to me.

I hate feints, i get frustrated by them. But since I endured this in chivalry and proceeded past the 200 hours I kind of, sometimes... play game or two here. But still get little mad becouse everyone is feinting. In chivalry at least there was a % of people that just simply not used it.

Of course my stand is from POV of more casual player.

Isn't that a little paradox though, Monkey?

I mean, i might be lost at this point, but would't that actually render the drug useless?

You need your cognitive functions normall otherwise what would be the indication that the time is "distorted" ?

Also depends on how much the drug affects you and your clear mind tbh.

If you look from the other side:

Human mind is powerfull, some are able to create entire new life, in their imagination - and they believe it.

Can any of you achieve lucid dreaming? I can, sometimes (not on command, that is something i will have to get to trough training and patience)

If you can, you know you can pretty much create anything you want and it do feel real. You could live thousands lives, giving you opportunity to realise your mistakes, to repent.

Depends on how the drug affects your mind...

Not arguing that being locked somwhere, awake - for what seems to be an eternity, would not make you insane.. pretty much would :P

To be honest im not even gonna play the game

Just wait and see what the devs have in store for the more casual players.

I get destroyed by feint spam all the time. Current game modes favor the skilled way more, but when you get to play some objectives, it might change - also, archers could be pretty usefull for harassing the pros ;)

Hm, this thread could be closed tho.. he asked simple question, that was answered .. well, by common users anyway. Further discussion was not needed and the OP itself asked for it to be closed.

So this thread is rather unecessary.

However, I would really like to know the reason for the recent eth.. i mean, poster cleansing.

I don't know much about how our brains work, but is that not how all things with a brain behave?

What I meant was that the fact that we are bad and stupid would not be programmed in to the robot, he will deduct that from observing and will act based on that observation.
