The bow is fun because I don’t have to be a try hard to use it. Just sit back and kill some dudes from a far. Its a relaxing playstyle... besides every other ranged unit trying to hit you with hunstman.
I could see how its annoying having your killing spree stopped by an archer. Guess you can’t always be the best though.
Its a pretty weird map, but it would be better for the king to be able to defend against the unceasing horse players that just keep couching you from behind until you die. I don't care how good you are you won't overcome being in the open field section with the whole enemy team firebombing, ballisting, ganging up on you, and the hordes of cavalry that keep respawning.
Pretty bad map but eh, that would be nice for the king.
I’m gonna be honest. I play 50% archer and 50% sweaty bloodlust melee.
I can easily top scoreboard as an archer if I play decently. Now usually it requires a good team for me to get a lot kills but its still pretty easy regardless.
I can kill anyone in three hits with the longbow. Its pretty deadly. I think its fine where its at right now. No need to buff.
You’re probably playing too far from the action. That’s why you don’t like the missile speed. You have to play close, like within 30 feet to maximize effectiveness. Don’t be afraid to go to your cleaver. Always be moving.
Regardless, I can snipe people coming out of spawn on Grad pretty easily. I think the arrow speed is good compared to other games.
I think its fun. Makes sense that if you hold the center objective you will do better. Its kind of a king of the hill map. It does turn into a landslide after that.
Anyways, none of that retracts from trying to fix the gate issue.
7.That would be a great thing to add to the perk. It still would be super powerful but its a nice touch. A nice little drawback. Obviously negated easily with a abndage or medkit or just killing someone but at least its a drawback.
I use bloodlust, fireproof, and smith with a heavy handaxe and 2/3/1 armor and it shreds on invasion and frontline. I think bloodlust is OP and as always I'm surprised its still in the game. I like it though so I don't mind, haha. Can get some cheesy killstreaks going when I'm not afraid to take a hit or two.
Then again, heavy handaxe is super versatile and kinda op too. Guess, I'm just a filthy min maxer...
I personally love bloodlust, but I'm surprised they haven't nerfed it or removed it from the game
They most likely haven't done that because the tabard is already in the game as a level 3 body armor. It would be too hard to tell if someone was wearing level 2 or level 3 body armor. That is why the level 2 tabard looks so different compared to the level 3 one. Again, purely for gameplay reasons.
Your best bet is to get the level 3 tabard and were chainmail accessories and legs.
Feitoria frontline is a pretty fun map, whoever holds the center objective will usually win. However, there is no hope for blue once the red team reaches the final objective due to one simple reason. The gate being shut. Once blue team starts spawning outside the castle, all red team has to do is shut the gate. Then red is free to plant explosives as they please. The gate should be static or just removed, please.
Just a simple tweak that could improve the gameplay for blue.
Oh yes and one more thing. Give the catapult back its range so it can actually be useful in invasion. Thank you!
I was just thinking about how a lot of cosmetics I bought I no longer use. It would be nice to sell them back for like 50-75% gold. Just for convenience so I don’t have to grind to try out different armor sets.
Or even just give is an option to try on armor sets before buying them would be great.
My humble suggestion.
I've noticed that after patch 14 hotfix 2, that the catapults range has been SIGNIFICANTLY reduced. I can't even get a rock over the walls on Grad now. Even up close when I am literally as close as I can get. Let alone over the walls of Feitoria, especially in the third stage when the nobles are hiding in buildings. For example, a few days ago I was able to kill two nobles on the third stage of Feitoria that were hiding by launching the catapult over the walls over the course of 5 minutes or so. Now, forget it, no chance. Same for Grad.
At first i thought it was my positioning and that I was doing something wrong. Then I read the hot fix patch notes...
Yes, I know the range was reduced to prevent catapults hiding behind spawn zones. But this was not how to fix it. Catapults are useless now except as a close up suicide bomb, instead of long range artillery. You're are much more likely to kill teammates now as well. Due to the fact you have a lot less range so you are forced to shoot closer in where teammates are. Not good.
Now your team has nothing against a team of nobles and engineers hiding in a building.
I'm not complaining about the patch as a whole, I like patch 14. However, I think this change was too drastic and has removed a part of the gameplay that is vital in invasion. That is my opinion of the matter. This is just my perspective from someone who uses the catapult on maps when people are hiding in buildings as nobles. Let me know your perspective on the matter.
Thanks for the patch, looks good. We’ll see how it plays out. I like that stabs seemed to be a bit nerfed too. Maybe?
Feitoria feels much better now that the third stage on invasion isn’t just game over. Like it.
Combat changes seem good in writing. I do like playing archer at times so I like the change to huntsman. I play close to the action and use my cleaver a lot. TBH, never had a problem with being shot as an archer though.
Thank you for your hard work. I really do love this game for what is. Now, time to jump in to test the patch.
