The standard thing to do is to push the lone enemy against the gate and then spam kick with your team. Well, I was the only one kicking and it resulted in all of the team damage to the point where the tactic was working more against our team than for us. Explaining how we were losing in team chat didn't help.

This kind of thing seems like more of a 'mentally challenged teammates' issue than something the devs can fix though, Pred.

Parries feel even more inconsistent to me, not sure what causes this though. Many instances of being hit right through parry, this seems to have roughly doubled since last patch. Ping probably not the issue since it's low. Might just be me being shit though.

The funfair at the test map is a great addition! Only downside is that the nice long bit people used for jousting is now occupied... by something awesome though. Maybe add a jousting lane on the other side?

I'm a mediocre player and the only time I selected maul in deathmatch, I overwhelmingly won, simply by moving from one pocket of people fighting to the next bonking them on the head from behind. It's a meme anyway and, afaik, rarely (maybe never) used on the battlefield in the medieval period.

The OHK potential on every armour class is too cheese.

Then I'd say just remove tbh. Every other mechanic is intuitive and at the press of a single button, this is a single move that requires a combination to execute. It doesn't fit in with the elegance of the other mechanics.

You can always make it cost more stam to kick while in the air to even out the balance.

The issue: now that you can't feint in riposte a lot of the skilled players will be pushing the limits of making a "fake riposte", a normal attack started as early as possible so that you can then feint it. In this build if you press parry (or feint if bound to rmb) at the start of a riposte you will instead automatically FTP (feint to parry).

In summary: If you use rmb to feint you're going to end up panic parrying accidentally all the time.

Other cons:

  • Allows for noncommittal game play (just FTP out of everything)
  • Looks janky af, most people will panic parry if you FTP your riposte at them
  • Adds layer of complexity when skill gap is already insane
  • Forces a playstyle down peoples throats, basically feint with Q and use a FTP bind or GTFO

Second this and hope the devs hotfix this before the next patch.

Nah bro just scour the forums every hour looking for the little [dev] symbol. It's the most effective way to disseminate important info. If i had more energy i would compile all i've seen marox and crush say this week and make a forum post but i'm too lazy.
