FIrst of , thanks Jax for the update. Great that you clear some stuff up thats was in the air and explain how it kinda came to these statements. Also a fuckup from PCGaming, but i dont think that was mean spirited considering the game has recieved lots of positive from the Outlet.

At the moment we are stretched thin with major important content additions and unfortunately we do not have the staff nor systems > in->place to moderate everything to our intended level of standards. We plan on improving in this regard

Can we get a general idea what you plan for us in a foreseeable future here?

Regarding the more Important changes, Kick recovery incerase and slower kicks after a Feint /Morph sounds great. Kicks are really breaking the flow of combat atm and i hope these changes will make them easier to punish/easier to read.

Warhammer,Shield Stam and Spear changes are great.

Edit: After getting bullied by Light Armor Pikeman in Duel servers the Picture above also applies to the Spear buff.

Interested how the overhead/undercut ping compensation will play out.

But whats about a certain stationary siege weapon that uses a counterweight to launch a 90 kg projectile over 300 meters?

A few questions
Will the catapult work like in C:MW wit splas damage?
What other Siege Weapons are in the making?
Will there be vehicles who need more than 1 operator?

Its both IIRC, but you cannot access the servers with matchmaking in the server browser.

you'd think they'd try to make the art style just a little bit different from chivalry. it looks ok but I can definitely foresee a lot of people seeing this and thinking "oh that's that medieval game from years ago" and not even giving it a second look.

Has been already mentioned in the first Devblog thread and im pretty sure that you are aware off that point.A big problem for this game will be the fact that you have to convince hundreds of thousands people who own chiv that this game is so many steps ahead and brings enough content to warrant another 20-30 bucks.Wont be a problem for anyone who played Chiv for more than 30 hours, since they hopefully know about the flaws in chivs system and will appreciate the fact Mordhau removed some of the immersion breaking/unfair moves.But a huge percantage of chiv players never touched it again after 5-20 hours,and they will eventually mistake Mordhau for a CMW or say that its still too similar to CMW and has not more additional/different content to make it stand out.If you manage to completly undo the peasant formula "Mordhau=Polished CMW Clone" ít would be another step to gain more attention/positive press.Although Mordhau looks very smooth and well made from the videos you have been shown so far so i have no idea what could be added on top of this.

Apart from that you touched almost anything that has been mentioned during the first blog,and the reddit thread was surprisingly tame,r/PCGaming is smaller and seems to be less cancerous that r/gaming.

Rocksolid take on for some of the game basic mechanics you have been shown so far,also good that you pointed out some things that have been critisized in Chivalry and the first Devblog.

Love the poleaxe design aswell as the one handed hammer.The "Duelyard" Map and the Highland Map have also amazing backgrounds.
