I have around 40 right now, but I made a vow not to play this patch once I reached 999 hours, so that's going to be the number for now. If you want I can do photo shoots, just have to let me know.
boi bout to get launched into the stratosphere
Disabling cloth physics mitigates the spikes, makes them less frequent. But spikes still occur even with it disabled.
hes gonna necro! WE NEED TO STOP HIM. he can't hear us he has airpods oh gOD OH FUCK
Yeah, I can understand that. But wind mechanics still gay
Of course you don't want the game to appeal only to noobs, that's why this game has enough depth on its own to keep itself standing for awhile. Players weren't too happy with one of the patches that made defense way too easy and thus too noob-friendly. I'm just saying that trying to make some aspects of the game more noob friendly won't always hurt the longevity of the game, so it shouldn't always be dismissed.
Bad for noobs is perfectly acceptable in decision making. You want to have players that stick around, if there are multiple things that hinder their experience just because we wanted to stop thinking of them, I doubt this game would get far. Wind mechanics are awful anyway, especially for noobs.
You say that he gives biased opinions, but earlier you also said that Shroud didn't even like the game that much. Which is a lie, Shroud enjoyed the game and said it was difficult. You may have gotten it confused with his reflex reactions of "this game sucks" or "why is everyone so damn good." You also said that he was being used for viewership. That is true, but with a variety streamer like Shroud, he could easily dismiss the game and not play it all. But he was so disinterested in the game that he played the game twice and streamed it for like 3+ hours each stream.
The harm in giving him a key is very minimal compared to the publicity and promotion to future buyers of the game. Mostly all of his viewers said how fun the game looks and how excited they are for release, I think that is better than putting out a game with a lack of content to people who want to play a game for the content. The alpha testers are mainly there to get the core combat ironed out before they release a game to an audience that might not even pay that much attention to the little details of said combat.
Overall, I just see no way where letting Shroud stream the game in front of a large audience wouldn't come out as a net-positive unless the game looked and played bad. But it doesn't. So now we have an even bigger potential audience to play the game.
I just want a rat playing trumpet, with glasses maybe.

I think the plan right now is to have some form of exp. and gold. You would use gold to unlock weapons which would be really fast in the beginning. The cosmetic items would be unlocked progressively as you get more gold and exp. I personally want a system similar to Halo: Reach. Not only did you have to be a very high level to unlock the best looking gear, the level itself was recognizable in showing how much time you put into the game.
