The "Raised Gothic Armet" is misnamed, it should be "Raised Close Helm" as far as I can tell based on the definitions i found of armet and close helm and the level 3 counterpart being called close helm.

is there a possibility of having both random and Frankenstein options spit out symmetrical faces when an option is ticked? I'd like to have extreme faces, but also having less asymetry on some. they don't all need raised brows after all! some do... but not all!

The catapult range nerf has made the catapult potentially unable to hit the final flag pole in the tutorial, as you can't push the catapult beyond the invisible wall placed in front of the camp to get in range of the river flag.

Loading

Friends of mine are having issues loading with feitoria. Before the update they always had poor performance, but now they load for a very long time before they get kicked back to main menu.

Agreed, it’s hard to keep track of buffs and nerfs if it just says “changed to x value”
As I don’t memorize every ms value for every weapon if any at all, so changed to 600 could be slower or faster as far as I know.

Noticing a lack of sound effects from places behind me, often dying and the weapon being from a player i wasn't facing at all and not knowing they ever swung as no sound played. it doesn't even play the sound for taking damage a lot of the time.

@Unlikely said:
"Messer" is German for knife. People began carrying messers where the carrying of a sword in city limits was outlawed. It is the answer to the question, How long can a knife be before we call it a sword?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vlWvLRxen4s helps dismiss that myth

And the messer can be used with a shield unlike the longsword, which even if players may hate it, does give it another niche as the biggest weapon to use with a shield.

I think the big issue is when rushing the archer you have no idea what part of your body they are aiming at, as they can aim at your head or you feet while barely moving their bow, so all you can do is aim straight at them and hope for the best with your parry. If you read them right then you get rewarded with the deflection.

Just need some ammo box re balancing in a couple instances. For example, crossroads could use one by spawn for each team so the builders can build a turret without having to get murdered x number of times first and get through the spawncamp.

im gonna stop you right there.jpg

So I am lying to myself that I love this game, even though i enjoy making silly builds, edgy/serious builds, and joking around as much as I like trying hard to win?

Get over yourself, play the game if you like it, and don't whine about features that many people do want.

There's also the issue of people trying to hijack someone's account to wipe their progress/family members doing it like a little brother getting on the pc and resetting someone's account. They'd need to add a support system to undo the reset in case of such things for me to support the idea.

They should add a separate head ornament slot for stuff like plumes and crests so you aren't forced to use a specific helmet. Some might not work with EVERY helm, but more than just the armet. I like the armet, but also enjoy wedge and sallet quite a bit.

A lot of people are missing the point that the articles are trying to get at, thinking they're just liberal trash pushing an agenda. Even giving these folks the benefit of the doubt, it should be in their interest to have at least some filtering and a functioning report system.

The reason this is a problem is because it hurts player retention, and is especially harmful for hooking new players in.
A new player is often goign to struggle, probably new tot he genre, and has 2 hours to decide if he likes the game before his refund window is up. He sees he isn't good at the game, but maybe is learning a few things. however, chat is the tipping point when he sees a couple people dropping racial slurs like it's going out of style and he abandons the game or refunds it. It also can give the impression the devs don't give a flying fuck about keeping the community clean and fun when they're so hands off. Where if chat was at least somewhat moderated a player on the fence may be more likely to stick around and keep learning, and might even find a new passion for the genre as they improve.

In the long term it would slow down how fast the playercount bleeds, and extends the logngevity of the game.
If you like a multiplayer game, don't you tell your friends? Friends buying a copy of the game keeps the money flowing for devs, and again helps bolster the playercount if they stay. Even if a lot of people here are conservative or just plain raging racist assholes, if they like the game they should support it being welcoming even to more sensitive people. This silly and smooth slasher game is fun, but being able to spout hateful garbage into chat shouldn't be a selling point for any game.

If losing that would make someone quit the game and wanta refund they can fuck off.

PS: Free speech doesn't cover private services either, it's about the government not being able to put someone in jail for what they say. A company can kick you off it's messageboards for being a toxic jerk as it is offering a service that is has the right to take away when misused. Chat filters in videogames are not true censorship.

Was using a shield fine last night. Don’t hold the shield up for ages, and be aggressive. If using a messer, s spear or a bastard sword you have enough reach to backpedal out of kick range. Avoid being backed into corners or walls. Stick with team mates when possible.

I believe the knife throwers only carry 4 knives before they run out. Buying a pavise shield for your back helps while running away from the first wave untilt he knives are gone, then the almost armorless knife throwers can be easier killed with melee. Otherwise, 1 shot from a recurve will kill them as well. Same for the green robin hood recurve archers, except they either have a full quiver of arrows or infinite ammo, so ranged attacks or rushing them by running around the horde is needed.
make sure to invest in medium armor for your head and chest especially.

even if youre not camping, having at least 1 bow to countersnipe is recommended. recurve early on, then longbow later. Crossbow takes too much time to reload if you arent in a tower.

It’s definitely regular mode. So the bardiche is not a good cavalry weapon compared to using a halberd, spear, or zwiehander. It’s much better at hurting Calvary than being cavalry.

I enjoy it, it has rough edges, but the flexibility of making your own mercenaries with the point buy system can help make different matches feel fresh. The base satisfying combat is a solid foundation for other hyjinks or just enjoying the tryhard playstyle.

Feel free to speak about many combinations, but I would like to specifically ask about when on a low budget. say you have only 3, 4, or 5 points to spend on a class due to perks, weapons, speed or a combination thereof, where do you invest those points?
How effective is 1/1/1, vs say 1/2/0, or 2/1/0?
2/1/1 or 2/2/0?
if you use a halber, do you run 2/2/1, or 2/3/0? what have you had the most success with?
If you have a full 9+ points to spare on a class and aren't building an absolute unit, how much armor do you invest in? 3/3/3? 3/3/2? 2/3/2?

Discuss!

Red had such an advantge that their flawed final choke was never a big deal, but now it's very problematic, and they need more ways in now. Blue got maybe a few toooo many ways into camp while red still only has 1 decently swift entry.

Leg armor already weighs half as much as equivalent head and body armor for determining movement speed. I like the idea of reduced fire damage. I’d also suggest t3 legs are not rag dolled by bear traps, just take the current damage.

T3 needs a little more mechanical usefulness to really make it worth taking over 2 besides for fashion points and cosplay.
