Yeah, morphing right now accomplishes pretty much the same thing that feinting does but without the stamina penalty. And really, vs fast weapons and accelerations, if I wait past late windup to parry, I'm going to get hit. My reaction time just isn't fast enough; it's not even a question of skill.

I go for the chamber on his stab feint and flinch him before he can hit me right here

But if that had been an actual attack your "chamber" would have failed and you would have been hit. All you really did was delay your parry and then attack when you saw him feint.

If the chamber window happened during windup instead of release it would counter feints. As it is, chambering has pretty much nothing to do with feints; you're still just waiting for release to decide whether to parry or attack.

I think you answered your own question. By even going for a chamber you are countering the feint.

But if you can't initiate a chamber until after windup anyway, how does that counter a feint? I mean, yeah, you've avoided the feint by waiting, but you're not even chambering anything anymore.

I initially thought that you'd start a chamber during windup, and if they feint, your attack would go through; if they attack, you'd chamber it.

Being able to gradually increase the game speed vs bots while you learn to chamber would be so helpful.

I don't really understand how chambering counters feints. I thought it would before actually playing, but you have to wait until mid to late release to reliably chamber. If you're waiting that long, you've already avoided falling for the feint.

Headbob while moving is way too much right now. It's making me feel sick and I'm not even subject to motion sickness.
