Apart from matchmaking and joining public servers being a mess for parties, I want to bring fourth a suggestion to make party play better and more fun in-match.

Right now it is kinda hard to notice who is your friend and who is just a teammate; either you have to tell each other to "jump" to identify each other or do some weird stuff.

Two simple suggestions could fix this, but you are free to suggest others here as well.

Icon's above teammates
Much alike in horde-mode, have a sigil above your party's members heads, which indicate they are part of your party. This allows for quick identification. However, this has the downside of being there constantly, and might get in the way of stuff, obstructing view.

Different color's for your mates
This one is a weird one, and I don't know how to do it for colorblind people. Have partymembers show up in another color. So if you are on the blue team, your party mates will have a green color instead, easily identifiable and not obstructing view. If you are on red team, they would be orange/yellow maybe (perhaps purple or also green). This should maybe not apply, for the party mate on the opposite team, but idk.

What are your thoughts?

Leveling up right, whilst it doesn't feel bad, doesn't feel great either. There is no feedback on leveling up othe than a pretty animation and a number increase.

I think it would be nice to add a gold reward on leveling up, as well as showing unlocks when you level up. That way people feel like they've achieved something.

Thoughts?

Here's my take on what I feel like should be done, both matchmaking and in-game

Regarding matchmaking, it feels awful joining a match only to just become a spectator. My solution would be, if a game is starting while you are loading, it should reserve slots for the joining players to join the game. Deny any new players from joining, and redirect them to another server.

Also, when the game is near full, sometimes starting in desolate places feel awful. I would want there to be at least 1 chest guaranteed per player spawn, as to provide at least some sense of fairness.

EDIT1:
Also, sometimes loot get stuck behind or in-between the rubble of the chest. Sometimes loot is so cluttered, you can't target what you really want.

These are some of my first thoughts, will update as I play further.

I think it's alright for the game to be dull, as in my eyes it's fitting for the game.

I wouldn't mind them to change the overall feeling of the game, but if they decide not to, then at least we've got modding on release so you guys can change it(if modding allows that) :)
