Loading times in this game are absurb in general. Just booting the game up takes at least 10x longer than any other game I own. I guess I should just give in and buy a SSD but it shouldn't be a requirement.

Forcing players to download all the custom maps on a server at once discourages server owners from adding more than a handful of custom maps to their server. Even as a one time download (unless maps are updated), a server with a large number of custom maps loaded discourages people from joining due to the long download time. The game should only force a download for the map that the server is currently running, like Chivalry does it.

Have the devs even said they're actively working on adding female characters and other skin tones? I think those are just on their list of things to add in the future, not what they're working on right now. It would be helpful if they could release a development roadmap so we could see what order they plan on releasing different things.

The yellow bar showing your build's movement speed is helpful but kind of vague. It would be nice if we could see exact numbers for the build's walking speed, starting sprint speed, maximum sprint speed, acceleration rate, etc. Could be shown in a box that pops up when you put your mouse cursor over the yellow movement speed bar.

Launched with peak of 43k, dropped to 509 in one month, increased to 534 in second month. That's a loss of 99% in one month.

Chivalry's 60 day retention rate was 15%, arcanes 60 day retention rate was 1%, and so far mordhaus retention rate is 33% (according to these charts)

Correction: Mirage didn't launch with 43k concurrent players. That was after TB gave the game for free (not a free weekend, you got to keep the game) because the game had already lost so many players that literally no one was playing it most of the time. Even that wasn't enough to save the game and it was shut down and removed from steam not long after.

They kind of already have one with the loading screen tips. This should be added to that. I didn't even know about this mechanic myself.

I've been getting 90-110 ping on the official US West servers, despite living in the LA area.

I spent the majority of my time in Chivalry on non-official servers and would likely prefer to do the same in Mordhau, especially after the SDK tools are released. Having progression be limited to official servers would be a huge disincentive to that. I think I would have quit playing Chivalry at around rank 30 or so if it hadn't been for the Moorland server. I hope the devs can come up with some kind of compromise that allows progression outside of official servers.

If you land a headshot with it it should obscure their vision until they press E several times to wipe it off.

I've been having this problem as well. Before the current patch the game would sit on a black screen for over a minute before starting up. After the latest patch the game will not start up at all. It just sits on the black screen forever (I waited several minutes before giving up). During one attempt it eventually blue-screen crashed my computer while waiting for it. Deleting the WindowsClient folder did not help.
