Reason for this post is to have the basic ideas and right people ready once possible mod tools will be available to us. Its not related to vanilla so if you dont like it its not your concern and instead of shittalking this thread just ignore this post and move along.

For later modsupport the idea is to create a "Grounded combat" mod where more playstyles can have a chance of showing off.

One of these would be where players can utilize the reach of their weapons, positioning and exploiting the distance between you and the target more where footwork will be way more crucial than in current vanilla where it currently feels like anyone with any weapon can easily reach you without any consequences. Dealing with missing strikes and punishment will also be a big priority for this mod in hopes it will prevent spam and to make players more consequencial of their actions in both 1v1 and 1vX. Headbobbing, wobbly movement, lunge, knockbacks and weapon stats are some of the stuff we'll look into.

Some of you will think that the game will be slowed down if we change some of these mechanics/visuals and yes you're correct it will a bit, but vanilla is really fast paced already and the idea of this mod is to add more playstyles, variation and if anything increase the skillceiling hopefully removing a lot of cheese in the broader aspect. Also i'm aware that cheese is a point of view, but in this case will be discussed with the modmakers and relevant input from dedicated people once the possibility of making the mod becomes a thing.

Same side combos would also be a great inclusive to increase the skillceiling, but it would require an animator to create seperate animations for it to happen. We would also look into fixing anims where player use one hand anims when using 2h polearms/weapons etc as the logic is you gain more momentum/power with 2 hands. Unecessary visuals that drain FPS like visual tracers wont be in the mod.

Hardcore mode would be sweet,
no visual/sound killfeed or HUD except for stam/health bar
no crosshair on bows/crossbows
no lunge to promote positioning and utilize weapon reach and make it harder to targetswitch in 1vX to prevent 5 ppl hitting ur back from 30m away
no 3rd person

Implement drawtime for bows, if quickshot the arrow just drop to the ground, but "arrowdrop" depends how long u draw just like bulletdrop in shooters

Indeed, it would be great, but people try to find a compromise in case some devs definitely want women in this game.

When i said the word "mysgonistic" it was to say if female character option is placed behind a paywall it will get negative attention by sjws and media, ultimately giving more trouble than it's worth

There is no SJW social control that have to be taken into account only this game art have value. The SJW opinion have no value as Daniel Vavra have shown with kingdom come delivrance.

With the upcoming gender i seriously suggest it to be DLC that should cost about $5. Why? its so little money u can wipe ur ass with 5 dollars and its good exra income for devs + its a bigger chance to maintain majorily male gender in that way for immersion.

This is what mods are for, also in the future i THINK i read somewhere that devs will take ideas from future mods and implement in the basegame if they work really well and people like it.
