Lets be honest here...... Mordhau is a stopgap game, will keep us relatively occupied until Chivalry 2

Meh, the basic defensive front for toxicity in this game(any game) is moderation, you lack, by choice for some reason; to implement it, Toxicity is by the player but ultimately controlled by the rules set and enforced by the developers/moderators. So as i see it, this has been bought on by Triternion.

Will it quash all issues, nope. But will certainly point it in the right direction. best offence is always been deterrence by simply having Mods this would happen. Especially for a game like this..... It surprises me that this hasn't been addressed. If for any reason Triternion decided that one of the most toxic genres should have adequate mods for this game, i feel sorry for the people who have to clean this shit up.

But as long as you keep releasing official statements instead of actually doing something, i'm sure it will magically fix itself.

Your CPU is the issue. I have 980ti running ULTRA at 80FPS, i turned the graphics to LOW and my average was 80FPS. meaning the GPU had little effect, essentially a bottleneck. You can open your windows task manager and provide the typical arguement "But sire it only says 60% while in game, you are wrong" But you can download any decent CPU performance monitor and watch what cores and the load those cores are taking, and you will see there is poor hyper threading capability in this game, nothing to do with devs, though they can improve on it but is and has always been an issue with Unreal Engine

Is also why the servers they are running officials can barely handle 48 players(Low clock XEONs), while my server running @5.0ghz can run at 64 without issues

Mate, i just killed a guy 3 times with a bow, then once with a Cata, he was on the opposite team, and i was votekicked as well. No rules, no reporting, no admins.... votekick system terrible

Yea the animation is well and truly desynced, you need to prestrike on average 10meters in front of the horse, great for the horse Rider though, most the shots will miss

Yea not entirely sure how it all works.... I was getting 80-90fps on ultra, Decided to turn it down to medium/low.... and well got 80-90fps.... This fps is on drugs..... Game is epic though

P.S Make sure to check all cores.... some will be battling at 100% while some are on vacation, Task manager shows overall CPU usage.

In Australia feints in chivalry were extremely frowned upon, so as a community we have decided to play Mordhau to its fullest potential, all mechanics. I have found reading feints to be extremely rewarding and gives me a tingly feeling all over... i hope they add more feints just in-spite of the OP.

they need some transparency, i mean modern day smoke grenades in a closed room are easier to see through than mordhau smoke grenades XD

As an archer homo I agree, there needs to be lots of balance, though having no flinch means there needs to be a decent amount of damage to counteract that, or there will simply be no point, But as crushed said the patch will make them stronger and that will/should reflect on the bows as well, only time will tell.

I did fairly well with the bow in the Australian community and look forward to having the extra 'difficulties' Mordhau will bring to ranged aspect of the game.

Plez release archer tonight.

Its not a "feint out of the animations" its a defensive counter to an attack, and stamina wise an expensive one, Removing this will make little face hugging dagger gamble 99% of the time. and for someone to say its; in your words "feint, feint, riposte feint." Its more of a feint, action, morph, chamber, footwork, block etc etc game, so much more. don't limit your actions.

Being vulnerable while being aggressive, works both ways, being vulnerable while being defensive... I aint going to sugar coat it terms of skill in Australia im on the lower side of it compared the many others. i feel you are seriously limiting yourself to a set play style rather than adapting to each individual fight.

Being Australian and coming from a Chivalry community where feints were heavily frowned upon to moving to this game with a community who decided to play this game with all its abilities to beat an enemy.

Feints are completely fine, they are fairly easy to read, if that fails use foot work. or practice your chambers. In my opinion blocking is a last resort, if you chamber his attack, force a clash then feints will become harder to use.

They arent broken, sorry to say this, but you just need to get better, the skill cap in this game is insane and will take a long time to master.

Not sure to be honest, i dont have any issues with game performance, though a few people mentioned FPS drop on the map Contraband after Alpha Patch #14, and in specific areas on maps.

UE4 does consume alot of CPU power for a engine so maybe you should reconsider using the other programs in the back ground, assuming those programs are video recording

I strongly disagree, Shields are quite overpowered, with users on the same level of skill gives a HUGE advantage, in a 1v1 environment they are significantly unbeatable (Again with users of the same level). Like chiv they require a method that is like a heavy stun kick or a method at least a Melee player can actually do to win against them.

As for the skill to use them, They do their intended purpose to add a increased defensive capability, if you have a mouse to move its hardly a skilled item at this stage in the game.

Servers are running to a satisfactory standard, I doubt they will start focusing on the finer things for a while. just use admin password, works well

Kicks are beautiful. Gone are the days of Kick stab kick stab rinse and repeat Chiv, Kicks are intended for facehuggers and can be/should be a punishment if abused and you miss.

Vote 1 never change kick, Cept on shields, add another 0.100ms stun for shield users
