Yeah.. I guess it’s kind of delicate because if devs wanted they could make bots virtually unhittable as impossible to beat

Level 3 bots in for honor are just downright boring to play against and they don’t make you a better player because their Just scripted reading robots

Honestly the ai has always impressed me I’m glad to hear further improvement and eager to get home from work to try. I didn’t know we could even do local in this build.

Before they definitely didn’t fiend and drag enough though.

In the future custom bot tweaking would be awesome I think

Squads and command wheels sound really cool.

Proximity chat sounds terrible.

Before anyone counters with "You could mute them", adding a quality voip system, like most little mechanics we take for granted, is not as simple as people think. The banging your mother squeakers, on top of character voice lines, will far outweigh any good intentions it's intended to serve.

It's the last thing these devs need to waste resources on right now in my opinion, or ever actually. Development time better spent elsewhere.

I didn’t love it and I didn’t hate it it was pretty much as expected.

I seen gauntlet say it in game there needs to be less high tier weapons and there needs to be more amour.

Also. There should be a Seymour who spawns once a round in the middle of the map or something for good drops. Or a horse that can’t be mounted that just gallops around carrying good loot that plays must down to get the drops. Something like that.

I hear you loud and clear and love my community servers too but this is kind of a damned if you do damned if you don't thing.

I think community servers might have their entry point a few months after launch. I wouldn't even bother hosting a server for launch to be honest.

Using 3rd in team-fights is not a supposed advantage though, it's where the main problem lies because it's a huge advantage. You don't like 3rd person? That's great but no offense you're not everyone.

Asking for official fpp only servers is no more unreasonable here than it is in PUBG. For every person who wants 3pp as an option there is at least 1 person who wants fpp exclusively.

I always felt people who holler for 3rd person are like social justice web warriors in gaming, they are actually a minority in the corner over there but Their loud.

Preferably, I hope some official servers will have fpp only and by some hopefully most. Community servers fpp is great but it would be a disservice to Mordhau to leave it up to them. Even I , having 1k+ in m&b know Mordhau natural state is fpp.

We’ve established the adv/ disadvantages enough now it’s not even an argument, we all just want clean state of mind knowing all are on level playing field and we are entitled at least to that.

Horde mode servers are a great outlet for 3pp players too, no one gives a hoot of people using it there.

Check the Valhall devblog and their “fix” for camera peaking I lold pretty hard why wouldn’t you just remove it at that point.

Woulda been cool to test and see cftp get it's own animation for a weak parry that gets trampled for a deducted amount of damage with it's own unique grunt sound and slight visual. Would come with it's own set of problems like everything else but a visual response to a punish will always be more satisfying than stamina wars.

Yeah but both League and CS were conceptualized from mods, no? If we got down to the real meat and potatoes Chivalry:MW was birthed from a mod and that's how we ended up with Mordhau.

I never really have heard a concern like that one.. You seem to think it will threaten competitive play? It won't. TF2, CSGO and I believe even DOTA2 all have modded servers without any community competitive repercussions in the slightest. Although if Mordhau will even attain to a fraction of those games player counts is obviously yet to be seen.

It was a response mixed between your post and jax’s Last one where he said “you don’t even have to be that good” because capping gives “a lot” of points. I admit I’m slightly confused with his last comment, maybe I’m getting points, kdr and gold confused.

Yeah I'm sorry to say that is a terrible idea. KDR should be the small bump in FL not the main incentive then everyone will just stat pad.

Objective points or whatever they are, flags, should give the most points and winning the match should give the most gold to encourage playing the objectives.

People want to stack their kills I get it. Leave that for skm/tdm/BR and comp whenever it comes.

I disagree. I'm not saying the BR is going to be garbage I am however a hard skeptic. I'm aware the Triternion has tested it but I'm sorry to say a gamemode tested in a fixed environment in no way reflects it live.

I have a brother who plays video games very casually and by casual I mean very few hours a week sometimes not at all, he's the dirty kind of casual who buys into these next big thing BR's one after another. Clearly, the subjective cons you have named pale juxtaposed with the pros that far outweigh them and the evidence lies in the obvious explosion of this genre dominating all other and it's not even close to being close. Basically it's a shot of quick adrenaline for casual gamers where the Risk (Moderate time commitment) V. Reward (Winning..) is perfectly balanced in a reasonable time frame. Reasonable as in maybe 20-35 minutes opposed to 4 hours to kit up in your standard survival game.

Mittsies comment is one of the very reasons so many people like it, I don't like it just like Mittsies but the reason I believe the phenomenon has stuck is what I said above.

Getting one tapped from a field 2 miles away makes some BR's frustrating? How about from a new players perspective in Mordhau. Scavenge the map for X minutes and then getting flawlessed by a guy with a floating messer, or you have slightly offed ping so you are getting instad by overheard and hit by underhands while they still appear in wind-up stage.

Who knows maybe I'm wrong but until I see it I hold no confidence in it which is fine because I didn't back this game for BR. I think their best bet is to make the "Circle" basically never stop shrinking so the games are very fast.
