I can’t decide if eft reddit or steamforum are worse. Whichever is this thread embodies it
I use 240 and didn’t even know their was in between the 6 angles until recently. Is that why we call it 240?

Yeah. I guess I just see TB's greed and negligence irrelevant to the whole drama. Unless one truly believes if this Scott fellow would have stayed on board it would have been any different. That's just grabbing for wind though.
The reason I eyebrow Scott is because some of the things he says are over exaggerated. Like AoC was a dying mod that only he cared about. I can attest to that being false because I was there for example. Small playerbase it was just as almost any mod, but with dedicated fans.
Then Ryan comes in and confirms that then Scott acts like Steve is some kind of mind controlling mindflayer who has corrupted Ryans brain against him because they used to be friends...
TB aint no saints and but I don't think Scott is either.
There is two sides to every story and I'm not saying this guy is making it up, heck I loved Age of Chilvary.. I played it more than Chiv:ME.
Although, he did sign the contract regardless of how shady it allegedly was. Also he was the one who made the drunken mistake. As a recovering alcoholic of 4 years I can sympathize with that and i've made countless drunken blunders.
If everything he says is even true then I hope he can just move on and not let tibs live in his head rent free for the rest of his live. Hopefully posting that got something off his chest.
As I was typing this post I realized Tibs posted in there wow.. Anyway so yeah.. Always two sides to every story.
They are saving the good ones for the loot boxes.
Seriously though I'm kind of indifferent and could sort of care less about the voices.
What I really care about is giving me the ability to tone them down, turn them off or just overall diminish them in some way. Anything to not make me want to log off the game over something so annoyingly silly.
It would be cool to see a system like this in Mordhau
Please either allow us to disable voices of individuals or at the very least put a Cooldown for spam. This is starting to become a deal breaker in some cases. It's basically as bad as not having the option to mute in a game with VOIP.
Insurgency provides a good example.

These are amazing Trix. Clear, crisp and to the point, I feel that your tone really makes the viewer want to pay attention and listen.
I abhor that little chode wanna-be scimitar when he grows up cleaver thing and now it's following me around.I regularly check Kult of Athena's new items list and to my horror the other day:
Haven’t played Star Wars but I’ve played rune. Can’t say I would use it for Mordhau but I think is would be cool to have a button like flip attack angle that activates this system when key is held down. Actually I think that could be nice.
Edit: it would also be great if flip side worked this 240. Last time I Checked it didn’t.
I've seen all there is to see. I can die now. I can go. I'm free.
Well put Das. I've never played GTA V so I can't touch on that. Though the mode i'm talking about isn't specifically for co-op I can see how you would make a connection. Honestly, it's more of just replacing "Local" with "Sandbox", not adding any new features just enabling the ability to tweak a little bit of what Mordhau already has there.
I have played Vermintide and you're totally right about the co-op part and map design. If a game isn't designed from the ground up to be played that way it can't really work apart from adding years of development, at least to be done right. That's not to say Modding in maps and such won't work but to what extent and how fun it would actually be is held in the unforeseeable future.
I have to mention Warband maybe to no surprise. Bot survival is huge in that game, Napoleonic survival is still the top played server most of the time. Ambler mod also just dropped another update under the new name Full Invasion which is active.
It's assumed the window of opportunity for any major suggestion to Mordhau is closed. That's not to say they can't reflect on these thing for future DLC and so on.
I also want to add I don't think Mordhau Multiplayer is boring and admittedly the reason playing with 63 bots on these maps might be because out of the few hundred hours i've played the game very literally 90% of that has been on duel servers. So I was thinking maybe it was just a honey moon high from going from that to that sort of thing. I'm not so sure though.
Ever hear of Totally Accurate Battle Simulator? Or that other one that goes by a very similar name? I haven't played either of them but apparently people love that stuff on youtube. When I went in 64 players on Camp with AI it reminded me of those videos. Even with some of the minor malfunctions AI has currently expect that in Mordhau your in a game with some of if not the best combat included with it. I guess case-in-point, Bots will do what humans will never do. Stupid stuff, like ball up in a massive crowed (Honestly making it more "realistic" than when we humans play, but who cares about that?) and it just makes for some good fun I thought. Especially considering the game isn't even finished yet.
So TLDR. It would be cool to have what we already have just with the AI cleaned up and the ability to dress up bots like barbie or whatever from our wardrobes. Or to recreate historical battles. Like I would do. Because I'm a nerd.
Cool post. I like that idea, if Ubisoft did anything right with For Honor it was the training grounds they really did an incredible job with that. Mordhau would do well with something like that.
My suggestion is for an outlet for players to relieve the pressures of constantly feeling like they have to be better at the game and just have a good time. You know, a place where where they don't have to take everything so seriously and play the game for the best benefits video games offer, fun. Probably most players on this forum wouldn't even touch it. It would be a blunder to think future players would.
So I hopped on Mordhau today after getting rained out of work and there was no one playing from what I could tell. So I decided to start a local game just to kill some bots quick and sate my appetite for those satisfying mordhau gibs. For whatever reason I was surprised to see I could play 63 bots even though I knew though server cap was raised some time ago I guess I just never tried. I cranked the pop count up and jumped in.
I dare say it was probably the most fun I have had in this alpha so far and I must say it was very therapeutic. Really though, Metal music, painting model for Wargaming, pumping iron.... Scream shock therapy. This was up there man and you better bet your billhook it was FUN. No theory crafting about half an MS on some game mechanic and honestly the bots being just bad enough to make me feel like Aragorn slaying hordes but just good enough to make each one feel as if having it's own personality.
Did I learn anything? No. Did it make me a better player? No. It was just having a blast in a video game. Mordhau is marketed as a
MULTIPLAYER MEDIEVAL MELEE GAME and as such we can expect to never see any kind of campaign or anything silly like that. co-op mode has been suggested already and "Modders will Mod" seems to be the answer. (Hopefully).
I was wondering how difficult it would be to swap Local Play to a "Sandbox" mode where the player can draw from his own armory to assign his kits to any one or all of the Bots or just choose them to be randomly kitted (As they are now). So for example, someone creates a barbarian kit and Roman like kit. The player can then Copy/Paste either or both kits to as many bots as desired. (Oblivously, to create a Barbarian vs Roman scenario.) That's like the most basic idea, I think this would pave a way into better tools for modding and definitely for content creators.
The ground work is basically completely already there.. AI has some obvious problems, they can't climb ladders, shut doors or ride horses. They also get clumped up and stuck behind gates. The way they fight is actually not bad at all if we remember this mode is an outlet to make the player feel POWERFUL. Scaling bot difficulties is a whole topic of its own. I think this would be amazing for casuals and for content creators.
Women are more prevalent in gaming than they were 10 years ago. Not adding them Would be a terrible consumer decision, realism arguement is pretty pointless. Go play KCD for that it’s a great game.
On the other hand I like the idea of tying them into perks
I would pay my bank account to see some of you guys survive in prison.
Sorry about that I should have known I have to be careful with my wording. Both parties in here are right in some senses don't be an indecent cuck and don't get cucked. This is Human reason since the Neanderthals.
Yes, rules and guidelines need to be established.
I just realized this episode doesn't effect my life.
