Three patches in six days, and each patch reminds me why I love you so much. Keep it up.

Why do you people think in binary where a mechanic either exists or is completely removed? A minor adjustment is all that is required.

Attacks can be accelerated to absurd speeds. That is the issue. You can swing with an arming sword before the enemy swings with a zweihander, and likely he will hit you first due to the insane acceleration.

FOV / Graphics

  • The right side of this guard for the zweihander gets eaten by the screen, especially when you are turning to the right. It occurs on 130 FOV. On 110 it is fine.

Cloth physics

  • It can be wonky when switching to a different loadout in the armoury, as well as when your character is featured in the main menu. Here it is stuck in this position. The bug can be done with the leather skirt but not the nordic skirt. It does not work when changing the skirt from the list of available waist options, only when switching to a loadout featuring the skirt.

EDIT: The image above makes me think of Marilyn Monroe.

Post your advice here.

  • Before taking a screenshot of a bug, do the "come at me" gesture so your weapon does not obscure the view
  • The bots getting stuck on the walls of Camp is great for practising stab chambers. When you approach a bot it will start to spam stabs. Practise to your heart's content.

I have also encountered a ballerina at least once. Without footage it is difficult to assess what can be done, but I do remember them being effective against players who are prone to panic, and not very effective against players who maintain their composure. This may mean they will go away naturally as their effectiveness plummets with each day.

Spectating / UI

  • When a player being spectated switches to another weapon, the weapon boxes can be seen and are empty

Map - Contraband

  • Blood splatter on the pillar is unnatural. The same rectangular shape appeared on the floor, but smaller in size. It was beneath the corpse on the right.

    Camera
  • Upon joining a server the camera is partially in the ground. It does not occur on The Pit.

Not only does Neo single-handedly vanquish the Eastern armies, he finds time to update the website. Thank you, Neo.

That is unquestionable, but I do not think what he is doing could be considered playing. It is only tedious testing.

Crush himself said the alpha was fucking ready, if it's ready why aren't we all playing?

I am guessing they need to test the servers with a small portion of players before opening the floodgates. Honestly I would rather play the alpha that is stable and working as intended instead of the pre-alpha that needs laborious testing.

It is alright, Spanky. A test of the servers would require the cooperation of trusted members, so they chose Jax among others. I doubt they are currently having fun. Most likely they are doing very specific things and making sure the connection is stable.

HOW YOU MEAN DELAY?! we have fking paid 55euros, about 30more euros than normaly to play it more early and now you are gonne delay it? that is scam, we paid alot money to get it that date, you have no fking right to delay the release of alpha. THIS IS SCAM

You are angry because you have misunderstood the situation. You did not pay to play the game early. You donated. The developers must delay it because they need more time to create it. It is not that the game is finished but the developers are too lazy to release it.

I Hear this for every fucking time they delay. But the thing is they LITERALLY delay all the dates they've set. Personally I would had liked to know before we all got super excited and planned for it

I want to point out they have not set a single date. They have only given estimations and warned they may not be accurate.

Just like it was a maximum of august 2 weeks ago and a maximum of 2 days, 2 days ago?

It was never a maximum of August.

@marox said:
We're aiming for end of August, if all goes according to plan. Sometimes delays are inevitable because things can break spectacularly at the last minute, but hopefully that won't be the case.

Notice how he does not say "I am announcing the launch date to be the end of August guaranteed". That is what you heard because it is what you wanted.

Being disappointed the kickstarter did not predict the alpha's release being in August is unreasonable. Being disappointed the alpha's launch is not the end of August is your fault because the developers said it was what they are aiming for, not what would be. Furthermore, they mentioned sometimes delays are inevitable.

Being disappointed they said a few days and are now saying two weeks is reasonable, although I think they are only giving such a length to avoid stating a deadline they may not meet and in doing so upset people. Being disappointed they waited until the last second to announce it is reasonable.

Throwing a fit or berating the developers is not the right course of action. For the past two years they have been nothing but amazing. Have faith. It is very difficult for them and they must be under a lot of stress which you are amplifying by causing a ruckus.
