Waaaaah my feintfagging isn't working because people can use a shield sometimes so I don't get 100% win rate

The dragfags won't listen to any sort of logic, they must kill the game with their nonsense attacks.

If you cared at all about this game you would have bought a key during the months it was for sale.

Yeah but then how would I pretend that I'm good at the game if I couldn't feint before every attack

Even with the new system I just can't get low attacks to register, it mostly just does a side attack instead so attacks from below are the only attacks I can't chamber reliably.

Shield hitbox can now be kicked when it is equipped (whether holding block or not doesn't matter).

Can someone explain this line to me?

I think it means that if they have a shield but aren't blocking with it then you can still kick it whereas I assume before the shield just acted like it wasn't there so you had to kick their body instead.

So it should make fighting shields easier.

It's an alpha, they can try it out for a few days realise that you whiners are wrong and then know that it was the right move ready for full release

Nice you listened and added M&B style aiming

Are there only like 100 people playing the game worldwide? When I go to servers and only show servers with players there's maybe 10 servers with players. Worse than mirage.

Uh excuse me but pressing Q to win is way more skill based than things that take practise like chambering.

I would love to be able to turn a bot into a feintfag so that I can practise against them until ultimately feintfags start crying that Q to win doesn't work and ask for a buff.

Oh boy I can't wait for the only two active servers to be taken over by kickfags who kick anyone who joins who isn't their friend.

What a fun alpha that would be. That totally isn't exactly what happens in chivalry.

Or just make it click and flick so that it only measures direction when you're directly telling it to measure direction allowing perfect accuracy.

Good changes, especially the server mode dedicated servers.

I still want you to make the 240 degree strike aiming system similar to M&B where you can click before flicking as this would make it far easier to aim attacks where you want them to go. For me this is the most important change to the game you guys can make at the moment.

Holy shit yes that would make it so much better. I keep doing that by accident, it's just the more logical system.

At the moment you just press Q and you can instantly retime your attack at no cost. Compare this to something like chambering where you practise for hours and can easily fuck up in the stress of a battle and you can see that it's just too casual by far.

Instead of Q to win, feinting should require pressing Q at an exact moment during your weapon's swing, as narrow a window as chambering possibly more narrow since you aren't reacting you're just timing on your own animation. If you press Q at the wrong time then you stagger like being kicked because you fumble with your weapon like an idiot.

You're risking totally fucking yourself if you mistime this, just like if you chamber instead of parrying. But if you pull it off then you've got your nice little feint and nobody will call you a feintfag because it actually took skill to carry out.

It raises the skill ceiling and makes the game more fun at the same time because people won't just do the same old tired feint attack feint attack feint attack in every fight.

Yeah at the moment the only reason to play peasant is for RP purposes because most weapons are one hit kill on you if they aim well.

Knives should be shit because it's a fucking knife and everyone is wearing plate.

Really knives shouldn't be able to parry shit because the sword would just knock it out of your hand and cut right into you and they should only be able to parry around the chest allowing people to cut off your legs because of your lack of reach.

But we've tolerated your knife nonsense by allowing you to do these things so stop complaining that you can't pull a chiv and run around with a knife using the fact that knives instantly attack to win fights against slower swords.

You feintfags always say this but then if I start feintfagging you back surprise surprise you can't counter it because you can't actually read them yourself.

I'm fighting against people and chambering all their hits and then they can just feintfag and win. So low skill of them but it's just not possible to beat feintfags reliably when it's possible to feint almost at the end of the animation at no cost and it happens instantly but takes 0.2 seconds to reach you because of latency by which point it's too late you're locked in to your own animation.

Basically they just need to be less annoying and casual because at the moment any idiot can just spam feint and win even if they are completely retarded and don't know how to chamber or anything.

Perhaps it could be like chambering, you have to press the feint button within a tiny window for it to feint otherwise it just fucks up your attack. That would make it something you have to meticulously practise keeping away the standard feintfag and making it so when someone feints you that's actually a really well played move that you can respect instead of just being some guy pressing Q to win.
