Like i said those were the images that came up when i googled it and yes the wiki does point out they come in many styles that makes it hard to classify them but thats also why i got so many different types i i was lookin at images. But anyways my main point was more just what my thoughts were on my take for a warscythe and maybe adding the fauchard as a an afterthought and these were just ideas for looks or skins...cuz damnit i want my warscythe lol...and maybe more crossbow types.

It would probably be kept at t2 and i dont know i can see these quite clearly since the ones that do tend to have them at an angle also think i found the name of the helm its called a Cervelliere which maybe could even be maybe a tier one helm using the ones from the images above then have a t2 version of it thats comes with these side clasps but then like i said keep the hat at an angle like the pictures show and i still think the one where hes wearing the hat on top is still fairly visible

Basically as the title says like the hoods the landsknecht hat should be made an accessory for at least certain tier 2 helms or maybe add some new ones and have that go as an accessory because ive seen images of landsknechts wearing like what looks like a smallish skull cap under thier hats

was actually kinda difficult for me to find specific images where they had the helmet and the hat clearly visible so i dont know how common it was for them to do it

You may be thinking of the fauchard which in turn is heavily theorised as having evolved from the warscythe, also warscythes basicly branched down into either a more glaive like or more bill hook like head so some things that look like billhooks might actually be warscythes, they came in many varieties of head shapes as they evolved from improvised weapon to proper tools of war. Hell even when i googled fauchard for images very simlar ones to the spikey one showed up so my bad that last one is either a warscythe or a faucherd which acually now that i think about if they make either an actual weapon they could just make the other into a skin i guess.

These are some fauchards that are basicly still warscythes

here are some others that are more glaive like

There is also at least one example of a billhook style one its circled in blue

They could actually get pretty crazy with customization if they use these too actually cuz they can come in just a bunch of styles and variations.

And

To me those look like they could hook a guy off a horse

Actually they were known for being used to dismount knights among other things.

I hope they inlcude the warscythe as its own weapon myself and i agree with whomever it was the it should be in a nutshell a slashy spear type weapon. But my take on it would be put it bewteen the halberd and spear length but like the spear start off at full length and not combo but gets the ability to dismount cavalry, its alt like the spear would shorten the length, disable dismount and make it a combo weapon. I also found some images for weapon heads

I think if they include the handgonne it should double as club when it runs outta ammo, after all the "handle" was meant to double as a crude spike for clubbing
