At least you posted this in off-topic... Countless threads about FLAIL (as you like to put it) have been made, and it has been answered countless times that FLAIL are not in the game because it is very difficult to implement in a balanced and fun way.

Your idea of fun (Inconsistent, not skill based, random, realism over gameplay) isn't the same as for most of us Christian. Surely someone will make a momentum-based damage mod once the SDK is released, and then we can see how bad it is.

Servers/Matchmaking: First things first - there is no noobserver. That sucks. No chance to practice, you just get mowed down by highlevel players. And zero team balance. I can count the matches that didn't end completely onesided at one mutilated hand...
That's actually a quite big point for me, I'm someone who likes a certain kind of balance. No need for skillbased MM, but a rough balance would be nice. Besides that, enough servers to be able to choose, that's nice. The possibility to sort by ping (or other things) would be nice (or more like standard).

Noob servers can end up ruining a high-skill game like this. They were very unhealthy for Chivalry. Also, there are duel servers for only 1v1s (Go to server browser, set mode as deathmatch and "duel" in the name search) where you can practice combat in a more controlled setting.

In addition, ranked MM will be added in the near-ish future.

Imo stabs are usually far easier to parry than chamber. Easier than swings, at least. Timing tends to change much less for stabs.

It's also far more efficient for your stamina.

How you should be accelling swings (after feints) is by not moving the weapon during release, but instead moving the start of the swing into the enemy before the swing comes out. Also, once a new 2-handed throwing animation (which the maul will also have) is completed the war axe will be throwable too.

Not all weapons will be great dueling weapons. War axe wrecks in frontline, but indeed due to it's lackluster range and unversatility due to a bad stab makes it bad for duels. It's for quickly cleaving groups of foes in FL.

Besides, I never said it oneshots t1 armor. Neither did I deny that the GS can 2hk t3 heads (it can't with stabs btw). I'm also not sure what you mean when you say the war axe is slow. It has lightning fast combos.

Again, look at the advanced stats. So many things you say are just factually wrong.

Does greatsword 2hk t3 torso? Fuck no it doesn't. The only stat the War Axe is lackluster in is range and stabs. It has lightning fast combos and it will 2hk no matter what. I seriously recommend you familiarize yourself with weapon stats in the advanced stats tab before you make stupid balance suggestions.

Why are you saying such stupid things? You can still keep playing pubs and hanging out on duel servers. Competitive MM will be completely separate from "casual" modes (for the lack of a better word) so it will not affect your experience in any way whatsoever. Do you even think?

Yeah, duel servers will still keep existing even when comp mm is added and you can still play pubs. Competitive ranking doesn't affect you in any way whatsoever if you are not interested in it.
