With no server browser filters I only seem to be seeing European servers?

Tell me that’s a joke i didnt get and that short spear feint stab does not cost 1 stam ?

In other case that’s even more lame to play with it knowing that issue.

Right now it costs 1 stamina.

Shields need to be colored. Very confusing to see a blue soldier with a red shield, especially if they're bloodied.

But you can loot shields anyway.

If I recall correctly, I recall reading a post by Crush regarding weapon properties, tossed out an idea like a billhook doing full damage to legs as on the torso, for example. Don't quote me on it. Speaking of billhooks, are they in the alpha? I don't believe I've seen any gameplay footage with a billhook in it.

They are in alpha

I definitely like this idea, I'm all for weapon types feeling unique.

Your saying this like the game should be 100% complete and done at this early state of the game. Wait more than a few weeks before asking things like this that doesn't really matter in the whole scheme of things.

You're* saying the Devs don't want feedback or suggestions during the Alpha process?

They said there will be a voice pitch slider

I hope there's more to it than that, that'll just make weird sounding voices instead of different personalities.

Lol, you do know this is an alpha? That means the game isn't done. The gui isn't finished, they haven't started to work on balance yet. That covers at least half of your complaints. Most of the other have, as others have said, can be covered by telling you to get good.

I think part of what the complaints are referring to is that Slasher (which was comparable to a very early pre-alpha I guess?) had some of these features, and now they're missing in a build that should be further along in development.

There's quite a few duplicates there Havoc, but I definitely agree with chambering not feeling rewarding enough. Right now for pulling it off you just get a stamina free block.

I personally use the alt grip for the greatsword, but it's because I'm not a big fan of super slow drags, but you're right I haven't seen many others doing it.

The only catch with feint reading in mordy is that while the windup is pretty long and well telegraphed the release is crazy fast. So feints are still readable unlike in chivalry but pretty damn hard.

This part in particular bears mentioning, I'm definitely noticing this. Some weapons have an even faster release than expected so you see the windup but then you're just laid out by an uppercut that hit you through the floor.

I think part of the problem right now is that attack morphs have no stamina cost attached to them. A lot of players I've run in to don't know the difference between a attack morph and a feint and are surprised when they realize there is basically a free feint in the game.

Currently there's really no reason NOT to attack morph every opening swing you do, and I'm not sure the reasoning behind that. I have to assume it's because the balancing passes haven't happened yet as per the MOTD/Patchnotes when you start the game up. In their current stamina free iteration I really like using them after a chamber, particularily after a stab one because that's the one basically everyone can do. Chamber the stab and attack morph it into a uppercut or something, that's a really fun and interesting way to use the mechanic and makes the 0 Stamina cost make sense because it's a (slightly) rarer thing and not done on every attack.

I really hope we get to the point where the Chiv vets stop complaining about feints as a general mechanic and start analyzing it for ways it can be improved. From the Beta of Chivalry to now people have been complaining about them in a wholly unhelpful way and yet they remained in the game. I can't imagine Mordhau is going to be any different, despite what Chivalry players would rant at me whenever they got feinted over the past few years.
