I'm impressed with the number of bugs addressed, but I noticed there was nothing about the azerty issue, not even under Known Issues. To reiterate, it is impossible to use emotes with an azerty layout and also impossible to switch weapons unless you rebind the keys (making the latter less of a problem).

I have the same problem in Mirage (though not in Chiv), but I hold Triternion to a higher standard.

I have the same problem, using an azerty keyboard and can't switch weapons, nor use emotes. Hope you guys take a look at this.

It's probably a netcode problem. No point in releasing alpha if people are constantly dropping or failing to connect.

I think that's true, actually. I remember in Chiv around level 25-30, I was getting owned all the time and almost stopped playing, but I continued out of sheer spite. I never became a pro but I did get decent, and frustration was a major factor in that.

I'm also in favor of binary fall damage; either it kills you outright or it doesn't do any damage at all.

They've only just found out how much money they got from the Kickstarter. Give them some time to get things sorted out. I expect we'll be seeing an update from them sometime this week.

What's your processor and monitor (resolution, refresh rate)?

GTX 1060 is a good mid-range option for regular 1920 * 1080 gaming.

In Chivalry the friend markers usually work fine on the first map, but by the second map they often disappear or get stuck in a fixed position.

I hope Mordhau will have friend markers, and I also hope the implementation will be a little better than in Chiv.

I bought Chivalry on a whim when it went on sale for a few € at some point in 2013. I had no particular interest in first-person medieval combat before that, I didn't even know it was a genre at all. Now I have 1,450 hours logged in Chivalry.

SirFruitofLoom is right, melee combat is much more fun and visceral than the combat in shooters, I get a thrill out of it I just don't get from other games. There is a certain rhythm to it that becomes a part of you if you've played long enough.
In Chivalry in particular, you have a lot of freedom in the way you fight and move with your character. I'm not interested in games where you get locked into fights and/or can only attack along preset paths during a specific window of time. Mordhau seems to be taking that philosophy of freedom and choice even further, with its almost continuous scale of attack angles. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to play it.

I'd love a sort of PvE survival/invasion mode where players have to hold back an onslaught of AI enemies, possibly with a limited number of respawns. My favorite Doom mod has this concept. It can be tense and hectic in a fun way.

I don't care about titles but it would be cool if we saw another update now that all the pledges have been processed.

The homepage also still links to the Kickstarter, but I suppose that'll be changed in the near future.

Kickstarter gives backers with credit card problems a week to get their shit together. So my guess is, it'll be sometime after the 14th.
