Wondering if any other server owners are having a similar issue with losing a chunk of players on map change. This seems to have only started occurring after the last patch - this did not occur before. I started noticing it after I set up a 24/7 Crossroads server. Here's a gif of what it looks like seeing all disconnect messages in chat:
Of course, many of you will say these are players simply leaving after the end of a game, which is normal, but they all leave about at the same time and it's right before the map changes.
A couple of things about my servers: I host them all on the same machine, I have three servers active at the same time. Each of them have a unique port, query port, and beacon port.

From what I've come to understand, the game is CPU bound. Meaning that when there are a lot of players on screen, this eats up your CPU resulting in less GPU usage. Try lowering any settings that utilize the CPU heavily - like character detail, cloth physics, ragdoll count and time.
I'm not familiar with Twitch Rivals - are these Mordhau streamers like dueling or something? I'll watch it regardless.
In the game.ini you want to add those lines that Gambit mentioned.
I've spent nearly 1,000 hours in this game not once using the toolbox seriously, and now that I've made a dedicated engineer class, I've had some of the most fun yet. I'd love to see the available builds to the toolbox expanded. I was thinking it'd be really neat if there were group based builds - like larger walls that require multiple engineers to build.
Yeah, this certainly needs to be addressed.
Just turn the gore back on as well as the teammate markers. You can press 'H' in-game to turn them on.
Horses are quite a pain to deal with - I agree with you. Though if they really annoy you that much, you can equip the billhook which on a successful hit to the rider will yank them off their horse.
Ahh so seems likely this is a bug attributed to higher ranks.
This! Was just about to post about this one. After making a purchase in the armory, it takes my money, but I remain stuck with the spinning icon. After a restart, I use the item purchased.
I'm curious Archer, what's your rank? I'm 36. It could be related to rank, because I haven't heard many people complaining about this one.
Taiga is biased towards red, no doubt - I haven't even seen what the objective is for blue once they've captured the points. That said, I still enjoy playing on the map. I kind of enjoy the challenge of playing on the blue side. Of course I do think it's crucial this map get changes to balance the two sides.
Shields need a mechanics rework - they have for a long time now. The game should strive to create gameplay that is fun for everyone. Fighting shield users is not fun; it's mindless and tedious. There has to be a solution that'll make both the shield and 2Hs users content, but what we have now doesn't work.
Just keep a sticky note in that spot on your screen.
Joking aside, I'm sure you're not alone on this one - so I don't see why a HUD option to disable them would be a problem. Though I doubt the devs will see this as a priority.
Terrible title, but yes - I do think this needs to be implemented. While characters can be made to be easily identifiable, it's not good enough with the maps as large as they are, upwards of 64 players on screen at once, and staggered spawns. I asked about this a couple years ago and Crushed said it should be a feature, but perhaps they didn't have time to get around to it.
