Lots of people have reported having issues with performance and stuttering. Some of them have managed to fix or mitigate the issue by doing quite a variety of many different things. Here's the collection of reported fixes/improvements:

  • Buying a better computer

Good luck!

Now heres the thing about that, I poured Fourteen hundred dollars into my PC so there is no way in hell I'm going to buy a new one.

However I did plenty of Digging and may have found a Resolution but I dunno if it works yet, However... I've been told getting more memory for your PC Incredibly increases FPS and Completely negate the effects of this Stutter Freeze issue. However I have ordered such an object to get to increase said memory, and it should be here sometime this week. other than that, I'll be waiting for it, however I did manage to get around this problem as a temporary solution not a fully good solution but, I did lower many of the graphics to the lowest of the low and it works okay for quite a bit longer than before. However I also have been experiencing a recent endeavor which has made me unable to play mordhau completely if you know what I should do please visit this thread! : https://mordhau.com/forum/topic/18151/cannot-launch-the-game-or-even-open-it/#c1 : as I dunno what could be wrong with the game now.

However for those awaiting I've been informed that the item for improved memory arrives on Tuesday and if it actually does fix this then I will get back to ya'll.

btw most of the things I've been asked to do don't seem to change anything, I guess this game is more Desktop Twitch streamer friendly than it is towards those who are constantly on the go.

The problem is that I cannot even open the game it just crashes the instant I click play on steam, I've tried validating the files which the first time recovered 2 files, but now it says its fine, I don't know what the hell is wrong with this game honestly, Its absolutely annoying and I've been looking for help everywhere and I couldn't even find anything. so someone please send help because now Im completely unable to even launch the game without it crashing immediatley after clicking play.

Same problems here, have been around since patch 4. Devs, I love your game, but if you don't fix it, or even admit that there are problems, people will stop recommending the game. If you don't care about this, then how hard is it to get a refund?

Well if you play the game over 2 hours you will never get refunded its steams policy and its kinda lame but thats the way America is, All about the money sadly enough.

So I have been having a problem and it plagues my ability to play Mordhau completely, I have this like stutter freeze thing with the game after my PC suddenly heats up too much out of no where, then it starts stuttering and then freezes about a few seconds I mean I'm still able to play the game however to do combat is impossible with this, and I have the Best PC Specs from last year meaning I should be perfect with no issues my Specs are.

Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070
I7 Processor i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80 GHz
16 GB of Ram
64 Bit Operating System.

I can run ArmA 3 Better than Mordhau completely which is disappointing since ArmA 3 is extremely CPU Intensive just like Mordhau but I don't have any problems with ArmA 3 but I have more stutter freezing in Mordhau which happens every 5 seconds it then freezes for 5 seconds and by the time I'm able to see what happened I'm pretty much already dead. There Must Be A Fix For This Somewhere Because I've been up and down these Forums for Days now and even all over the internet.

I am Also on a Laptop Which Runs ArmA 3 Better than Mordhau.

This game is just optimized badly. I get FPS drops and stuttering too. The devs won't actually adress the issue, which is clearly in the games code, they just tell you to either send them logs or tweak some settings and/or files.

Ryzen 5 2600
RTX 2060
16GB RAM
SSD

I can run the game 80+ FPS on max settings, then it just randomly drops to 50 for a second, or it skips like a second worth of frames, and I'm usually dead after that.

Fix the damn game before you pump out new weapons and maps, please. I would love to play the game, and enjoy new content, without stuttering and FPS drops.

You won't get any help or attention here, sadly. The devs just won't admit that there is something wrong with the gameand fix it.

Well its not the whole like FPS issue I get fantastic FPS, But the game just like randomly stutters and Freezes for like 5 seconds every 5 seconds, Its like after like 5 minutes or 10 minutes of game time it starts up, and I don't understand if its like the heat my PC outputs or if its like something else I dunno.
