Why not making Horsefield map playable with 64 players in frontline mode ?
I mean, it could add a simple map, a real battlefield without any obstacles but trees and rocks...
And, i know lot of people dont like horses but i think it could be realy cool to play massive horsemen battle, or trying as a footman to impale some horsemen on our lance !
I love camp, fort or castlle map but i would love having a simple plain open battlefield, dont u ?

Did you forget perks wich are RPG part of this game ? Anyway, adding buff or debuff like stamina drain for running with heavy armor could make this game a little more immersive. I mean, heavy knights shouldnt sprint accros the entière battlefield as easyly as light boyz !

what do you think about these idea :

Flag (lance with flag) :
Just a new skin for lance OR a new weapon, which buff allies in an area around the player with a +10% damage

Drum :
I would like to see drummer motivating soldiers ! And doing concert with luths !

Stamina sprint drain :
no armor = no stamina drain
light armor = little stamina drain
medium armor = medium stamina drain
heavy armor = massive stamina drain

Viking shield :
No need to explain, just a big round shield, not this tiny targe...

Anti-horse Perk :
2 point : add 100% bonus damage against horses and horsemen when using spears, polearms, lances...

Option A is a good idea ! Making horses and catapult cost something would make frontline more tactical.
Am i alone to Dont think horses are anti-fun ? I like, as à footman, waiting for them and trying to kill dem, its a real satisfaction when i succed, when i see da horseman falling hard on the ground and when i finish him !
In another hand, i cant deny horses are a little OP and it could be better if they dont oneshot ( exept head )...

Hello there,

Shields (i dont care about if its OP or not, that's not the subjet here) are iconics of medieval warfare, so i think it could be rly nice to have more shields ; cosmetics, skins, or new items...
Plus, shields should have offensive use, we should be able to broke some teeth with it !

There is already a horsemen only map if u look in the teamdeathmatch servers but i like the idea of tournament and jousting mode! Something like 1vs1 with spectators and a turning system for opposants...

Agree ! A perk for pikemen that could stop horses or adding extra damage against them would resolve the OP problem of horsemen !

No, deleting horses and ballista isn't a good idea... It's sad to delete gameplay diversity when u just can rework the map design ! I mean, delete forward spawns, adding some trees where footmen could protect from cavalry, defend by ballista... That could resolve some problems without deleting features...
Plus, force footmen to cross the field would gave mortar a real utility and this map would became a real king of da hill !
