i strongly suggest you take a deeper look at weapon stats before you start claiming shit like this.

So not even cant they combo if they land a hit but they cant slash through multiple enemys and hit them for damage or atack stops. It makes hits more predictable if you cant continue dragging animations.

i'm not 100% sure, but i think you can morph the next attack after a hitstop which in some cases is BETTER than comboing when it comes to being less predictable.

also, if an attack were to kill an enemy, it will cleave through to hit more people.

They need an additional purpose or this perk makes them worse than any other weapon without hitstop in direct comparison.

secondary objectives/capture points is a must. like you mentioned, people hardly go to the point anyway due to it being so cramped, and end up just fighting at random chokes. give them something to do out there that actually helps.

First game I joined as blue, the spawn was a mess of horses and billhooks. When I finally managed to make my way towards the middle point, I was met with two naked people carrying nothing but firebombs.

I think it's less about getting better with the ES, and more about what you mentioned;
"struggle a lot more with skilled players."
Focus on what they're doing that's beating you so badly, and try to emulate/counter it.

frontline definitely needs a serious overhaul. something like; every point on the map is able to be captured, and each point has a unique objective that players need to participate in to capture said point. as it stands, the TDM in a circle has lost all its luster.

Archers are in a good place atm, I don't think adding something like this to archery would be healthy for the game. Landing a hit on someone before they engage your team is big, regardless of whether or not they have bloodlust. Letting archers punish someone even though they score kills at a disadvantage doesn't sound good to me. If anything, health on kill should steer archers to try and pick off t0 helmet guys or enemy archers, which is way better than shooting at enemies actively fighting your team.
