I appreciate that the devs changed the cata and ballista respawn times so that they don't instantly come back and I agree with you. The spawn zones to attack red are too restrictive. I die when rushing the ballista at point two almost every time due to the timer.

What if they set the timer for more like 30 seconds for Camp?

What is your favorite alt-mode for a weapon? I think mine may be bardiche to cut down horses (cheaper than halberd), but also love to grab a weapon to throw when needed.

The civilians that are part of the objectives on Tiaga and Grad can't be walked through or pushed out of the way. This is fine on foot, but doesn't make sense when on horseback. Right now a horse running full tilt stops dead when it bumps into a civ. Please change this so that at least horses always bounce off or, better yet, the civilian is bumped and you can continue. Don't need more crap to run into on horseback.

If Huntsman capped a bow's damage to like 95 against armor (unless it was a head shot) that might give recurve a chance in the head to head.

Totally agree that you should not knock bow or thrown weapons out of someones hand with a normal strike. Bows and thrown weapons don't even flinch, unlike getting bumped by a horse at almost any speed. Totally silly considering projectiles do lots more damage and horses are already annoying AF.

AFAIK the attacker's catapult in Grad takes the normal time to respawn (2 mins?), but defenders' siege equipment in all Invasion maps is about 30 seconds. There is nothing more frustrating than bums rushing these to keep them from spawn killing you or mowing down your team only to have them reappear in practically no time at all. This assumes you can even reach the siege equipment (looking at you, Camp).
Please fix this. Set the respawn time to normal or much closer to it. Defenders also benefit from this because if the catapult is stolen and they break it, the attackers don't get it back so quickly. Also, on Camp the catapult/ballista should not be able to hit you from what is essentially off the map.

When you kill the ballista that defends the explosives cart in Taiga it respawns in what seems like 15 seconds. This is way too fast considering how powerful it is for defending the cart. Please give this the normal respawn time so that when you strategically destroy it it actually makes a difference. Even when I spam smoke to provide cover it doesn't limit the ballista too much.

I'd like to see a perk where you can switch weapons quickly, especially after throwing. This wouldn't increase attack speed between thrown rocks, knives, axes, etc, simply let you ready the next weapon you are carrying before some dude punishes you for throwing.

Trebuchets on Camp should not one hit kill. It is random and it sucks. If it did 99 damage I'd be fine with that.

Sure, there will be many people who just use voice to talk shit. They can be muted or kicked/banned if they are too offensive. Some amount of shit talking is fine with me. Keeping chat to just your team limits a lot of the trolling, plus I really like the idea of making push to talk mandatory as well as limiting talking time.

I admire your desire to encourage teamplay and communication, but its like... giving a kid a magnifying glass to see bugs better up >close and expecting there not to be a bunch of burnt bug corpses in the yard a day later.

How are players going to learn? I say give them just enough rope to hang themselves and see what they do. Bad analogy, but still. Inclusion is way better than trying to segregate people on the internet. Look at these mass shooters coming from the far corners of the internet. If people called them on their bullshit regularly do you think they would be so extreme?

As an experiment I made a mercenary that has a billhook and toolbox to throw up spikes. Very effective against cavalry. The trouble is the rest of the team who get caught with their pants down.

Lately I am using the billhook (because screw horses) and Estoc. Short or long spear is also great, depending on how many points you can spare.

Where is voice chat? I don't want to memorize 50 keyed commands to communicate with my team, plus that kind of interaction is very limited. I have been asking around while playing and guess what? People on public Front line are not using Discord. Public games would be so much better if you could communicate through voice with your team. Any game I've played with voice has been made better by being able to coordinate with my team. As someone new to the game, and the game itself is new, there are also opportunities to connect with other players and try to coordinate play.

Trying to take objectives, deal with people infiltrating your base, etc just work better and make the game superior with voice. I don't feel like I need to hear the other team voice chat and the idea of proximity chat is a little weird to me when the main point is I want to talk to my team.

Obligatory acknowledgement of objections:

"But people say bad things to me!" Mute exists. Moderation sometimes exists. Vote kick exists.
"But I think it ruins the aesthetic of the game" See point number one.
"But this topic has been discussed before and I don't like it." Too bad, it is still a problem for people on public servers who want voice chat
