Did you never notice how players glitched and bumped around in a fight? They all moved around like superhuman ninjas, even in full armor, which was/is just ridiculous.
That was especially annoying when playing archer and caused lots of teamdamage.
It got tuned down a bit, but you can still notice it.

Countered by what? Glitchy/broken movement? I'd prefer another way of balancing things.

I'm not asking for a refund but I really dislike the movement changes and heavy weapon debuff (especially halberd.)

But why exactly? I still think that weapons in general still do way too much damage in general, but especially those heavy weapons were/are way too powerful.

Wow. Do you realize that you are the stereotypical kind of player that every developer hates? Most of what you are ragewhining about are fixes to balance issues that people DID ask for.

This is what your post basically boils down to:
"WAAH... I CANT RANDOMLY SWING AROUND MY UNBALANCED MURDERWEAPON ANYMORE TO KILL AN ENEMY AND TWO TEAMMATES AT THE SAME TIME! NOW I HAVE TO THINK WHILE PLAYING!!!?1"

Bugs/issues (just played 3 matches):

  • "Failed to connect to server" two times -> Had to restart the game.
  • Weird deaths due to invisible fire. Also no sound or damage indicators.
  • Servers are still laggy as hell. Hitdetection is horrible. Lots and lots of failed parries and hits. Can't hit anything with the bow anymore. Lots of laggy kills and hits.
  • I don't see any improved "heavier" movement yet, players are still hopping around like bunnies. Melee still isn't very fun to play that way.
  • The new archer hitsounds (?) are horrible...
  • The problem around buggy sounds behind/next to you got worse.
  • Castello looks nice. Not sure about the gameplay. Only got to the second stage. The Objectives make absolutely no sense. So far. Weird map.
  • Mountain peak expansion. Well. Looks nice, too. Gameplay... not sure. What is it with devs and their maze-like mapdesign? Anyway... played it for a few minutes and found multiple glitchy walls and objects you can pass through. Also, the last stage was 16min+, but ended with 14min left.

edit: "Server is full, try again." -> Kicked me from the serverlist back to the main menu. Suddenly "Failed to connect to server" pops up. I press ok, then the zoom on my knight shown in the main menu goes crazy and my game freezes. Perfect.

Kills and assists near objectives for defenders now award 50 objective points

Hmmm... not sure about that. Works great for defending nobles, but you don't necessarily have to be next to an objective to defend it, e.g. Grad's first stage. There should be abonus for fighting in/near a flag's radius, too.

Split Invasion and Frontline matchmaking

Finally...

Added toolbox radius check for all toolbox placeables

I hope it's not a half-assed fix that now keeps players from building simple walls.

That should have been done via a hotfix 1-2 weeks after introduction.

I love it when obvious cheaters tell you that they just played >1000h in Chivalry and are thus just experienced. So experienced that they can even manipulate the gamemechanics...

Then just check some of the threads that already exist. You might have to dig a bit, but there are possible solutions spread everywhere. The devs/mods refuse to make some dedicated threads for that kind of thing.

Where is that "majority of gamers"? Like I said, I only remember a few reports here or in the game. If it was the majority, don't you think there would have been quite the uproar?
The game's hardware requirements are plain normal, if not even rather low for a "new" game. You don't need an AAA supernerd PC to run the game.

Did you already do the obvious, like checking your connection? How is the connection in other games or even while browsing or watching a video on Youtube?

The problems that I remember getting reported here were due to hardware issues. The only issue that many players reported was a worse performance of the game in general, including servers.

You had some system- and also gameupdates, that isn't "nothing".

It used to work okay, now it doesn't.

What exactly does "work okay" mean? Was it running fine or did you already have less severe issues before?
Are you playing with mods?

It became unplayable around the Feitoria update.

That update made the game running worse for many players, but the issues you described are most definitely caused on your side. That isn't just normal server lag.

Feitoria Frontline is the worst balanced map in the entire game and the map layout in general doesn't make much sense.
Invasion suffers from many smaller issues, the half-assed noble/king stage is among them. And do you remember that big badaboom thingy sitting on that now empty tower of the castle?
Gameplay-wise, that map is quite the failure.

Thanks for that little sign of life.

That new map looks really nice. One can easily see how you made some serious progress with mapdesign - at least regarding the look of the map. For the balancing I simply hope that you learned from your mistakes, especially from the massive failures of Feitoria.
I'm not entirely sure about the MountainPeak expansion, but it's too early to judge of course.
The armor and weapon additions look nice.
But to be honest, I'm more hyped for some of the fixes.
