What does "bottlenecling, stuttering" mean?

It means too much is been processed by your CPU and is causing the game and loading to take longer.

Maybe make sure your firewall is allowing the game full connection. Could try restarting your router as well. Other than that, might scan for malware/viruses if anything. Not 100% sure what else you can do. Dont think there are any port forwards specific for the game either. Hopefully someone else knows if there is or not.

Try signing out of your PC and logging back in (will dump stored/cached memory/data from internet) or restarting steam.
Another thing is running CMD and using this command : ipconfig /flushdns
Used to do this for older games and worked for them. I do it out of habit now. Usually the first one does the trick tho. Also make sure nothing else is downloading in the background from steam or other sources.

I wouldn't normally even post in this nonsense but ive noticed it a bit more as the days have gone on. At least if your on official servers you can report it in discord. https://mordhau.com/forum/topic/14506/mordhau-official-server-rules/ As for private servers, kinda on your own there I would assume. However most games ive been in with people being rude they tend to just get vote kicked anyway. Id welcome a player mute for sure for those not so great situations but to have to turn off chat entirely I think is just garbage. Just my 2 cents.

Haven't seen that bug before. Have you tried updating your driver for your graphics card and maybe tweaking the settings of it for games?

Turn on your steam overlay in your steam settings. :)

Your ram is also at the bare minimum. Switching nvidia settings to more of your GPU than CPU will help a bit of bottlenecking/stuttering. Another thing you can try using for ram is Razer Cortex. You can have that program free up some of the ram being used/locked/cached to be reused for gaming. Right now it doesn't recognize Mordhau so you'll have to manually click it to have it optimize and turn it off when done (its usually done automatically).

Sign out of your pc (not restart) so you have to login again. Quicker and dumps all the excess memory/cached files.
Another thing ive noticed that helps me is actually restarting steam.
Lastly, you can try opening CMD and using the following command : ipconfig /flushdns
I do this every so often due to some of my older games i used to play and just remember to do it every so often.

Make sure your refresh rate matches your monitor. Cousin had issues with screentearing/fps and doing this fixed it. I dont have my FPS ticker up while playing but I know its a lot more fluid than most games and I have my settings turned up quite a bit. Intel Core i5-6402p CPU @ 2.80 ghz, 16 gb ram, GTX 960 4gb vram on HD. Ill include my nvidia global settings as well to hopefully help others if changing refresh rate on the control panel for your monitor doesn't fix it.

HOLY BALLS IT ACTUALLY WORKED, I was able to run at medium graphics no problem. Not sure if it'll work for frontline though, I was only playing on duel servers. THANK YOU GOOD SIR!

What exactly worked? Changing fps limit to match monitor? My limit at the minute is just set to 250.

Don't see why/how changing it to 144 is going to improve fps.

Check your refresh rate on your monitor. Lots of monitors will default to 60 hz instead of its full 144hz so if you dont readjust that then you will sometimes get screentearing or stuttering (assuming you have vsync on). I dont believe adjusting in-game fps to match your refresh would make much difference. But this is what im talking about in my previous post. Also dont forget the prerendered frames set to 1 if your mirroring it. That helps quite a bit imo. Instead of a 3rd pic I just put text instead.

As far as I know, official servers are down. Private servers are your options till they're up again.

Keep in mind lowering graphics will put a heavier strain onto your CPU rather than GPU which in return will bottleneck your system overall. But same as -db-, without knowing the full rig its hard to give a full answer.

Turn on the Steam Overlay option in your settings of steam. I had the same issue. This fixes it.
