The game is horribly optimised for cpu. Your cpu probably bottlenecking it, check hwmonitor or even task manager and observe the 100% cpu 50% cpu usage lol.

I had the issue until I overclocked my i56600k to 4.7ghz, 1.35v per core. It'll probably kill my chipset within the year, but it's all I could do to get 60fps+ stable. Its still shit but better. Without oc'd literally any other game I run is on 80-100+ fps stable max settings including the brand new total war 3 kingdoms and games like bf1.

They claimed they made cpu optimizations this patch but whatever they did was a waste of time, did nothing for me til I finally lost it and oc'd.

I get 30 - 40% utilisation on my cpu with 250 frames. The game is optimised. Under the right environment it runs well, but I agree that doesn't happen for everyone. As they are a small company we can't expect them to have a massive QA team with hardware setups for every condition. It will come in time, but for an indie game it runs better than a lot of premium ones especially for just being released. Try some of the many suggestions on the forum before OCing because you'll probably find a solution more worthwhile.

Have you tried uninstalling steam and the game?

Queuing for certain maps would be cool. It will probably divide the player base and cause longer delays though. Certain points of the day there is often less than 7k people online globally, a lot of which are not in the queue but on private servers. So map selection won't work until the game is more active, but you could try private servers to find ones that run the same or a set of maps. Pubg went back and forth on map picking, because they had the same issue while having 100x the player base.

Why do you need to use a VPN? I don't think a setup like this is in scope for support from the devs as it's a bit of an edge case.

you're a legend dude, thanks so much

how did you manage to find these?

What version of CentOS are you using? I haven't needed any dependencies for Centos7. Things like xrandr are for desktop environments too so probably unnecessary.

Why?

https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/8lvuyt/nvidia_privacy_guide_doing_this_again_after_the/dzkldwe/

This is a post of an official nvidia community manager. He says that if you don't want your personal data collected, don't install GeForce experience.

The drivers themselves are proprietary, the OS you're on is proprietary and just about everything on Windows is not worth trusting. I don't use Windows for my day to day so I don't have any private stuff on it, but if you do then Geforce is the least of your concern.

Maybe try set the resolution in your video card control panel. I know in Geforce experience you can set that stuff per game.

I don't have and don't want Geforce experience.

Why?

"Error fetching Vultr data for server"

You tweaking again @Gambit? ;)

This time it wasn't actually my fault haha. Someone noticed this on reddit earlier as well and I was convinced it wasn't a problem on my end. Contacted Vultr and they released a patch. Response from Vultr

Hello *,

We have applied a patch to address the error you encountered here. Can you please attempt your destroy request again?

Thank you,"

This is very unlike Vultr, and I don't know what they're talking about with the destroy instance request. Basically, the password for my API on peoples machines is stored in a userdata object through the Vultr API, but earlier the endpoint to fetch this was failing. I've checked and my instances are back working now too, so I think you should be good also. If not just let me know and I'll contact Vultr again.

It fits into the very broad era that Mordhau is going for. Not necessarily the same location, but would definitely fit the mechanics of the game and I hope to see a mod for it at some point.

Can confirm same on my end. Chrome.

Sorry guys I made some changes to the API for the server browser and didn't realise it would have a knock on affect. The instances are now loading correctly and I'll look at the stat banner issue next.

Shameless self promotion but have a look on my server browser for ones in your region http://browse.nx.ie it's possible the servers are labelled incorrectly near you, as this seems to be the case with some of them atm.

36 servers titled Sydney are in the US.
16 servers titled Strasbourg are actually located in Germany

These are the only ones I could easily find, but with the amount of reports about East and West coast NA servers being incorrectly labelled too, I can't imagine what the actual total is. This is probably the cause of a lot of the threads complaining about high ping and packet loss, and it has been going on for a few weeks so it would be good to hear an official response.

Search seems to show no populated servers in all of Australia which seems to be wrong, in comparison to the ingame browser.

Yea Im using the free maxmind geoip database so it's a bit off. I'll look for an alternative.

EDIT: I've just updated the database and it's a lot better now. At first it still didn't show some of the Sydney ones, but I did a trace and the listed Sydney ones are actually in America. Go Mordhau.

The third server in your ingame list for example

Just deployed some updates.

  • Live ping is displayed now (no sorting for this unfortunately)
  • Country selection dropdown added
  • 2 digit country codes have been changed to full names

Is removal only intended for things in the equipment directory? I've been attempting this on certain items in GameModes\Horde\UniqueWeapons\ to no avail. "Fixing" horde mode to my liking would be fantastic.

It is intended for the Equipment directory, but you can use ../ to travel back. I haven't messed around with that directory before so I wouldn't know if it works.
