This is a known issue and the devs are aware but it generally fixes itself over time.

Not a perfect solution, but why don't you setup your own server at home or through a hosting provider? I've looked at hosting outside of Sydney and it's very expensive, so I imagine without it being extremely popular, it's not worth anyones money.

Also 64ms ping doesn't seem that bad. Comp matches between EU and NA are probably far worse.

I've just updated the EU server name to the one below. Very vain but very much not my idea. People wanted an easy way to search it.

Anti-cheat providers don't work. Detection, obfuscation and exploit fixes need to be built into the core of the game. Adding layers on top of an application to solve an issue will not help. I haven't had problems with cheaters. Sure, people abuse exploits, but they're just things overlooked by the devs.

@OP after files are verified each time, you need to delete the below items from the content path.
They're in somewhere like

Basic premise is a website or downloadable launcher that people can queue for games of a certain type. You could view current queues or create a queue under specific filters e.g. 6 player TDM Contraband, 16 player SK, 40 player FL, caveman raid

Ive been thinking about this for a while and if it would be worth making. I wouldn't expect the devs to make this, but I might make it my next project.

Once a queue has reached the amount of players needed, it would find a suitable empty server and notify everyone with the connection details, or ideally give them a steam intent button to instantly open the server.

I don't expect it to be an instant matchmaking experience like the official one, but if it was running in the background while you grind some frontline then it could build up over 5 mins and find you the ideal match.

The problem with no servers being filled for modes like TDM and Skirmish at the moment is due to them needing one or two people to just join and wait before other people do. Matchmaking would solve this and hopefully bring people to private servers and other game modes more. Frontline, while very good, is taking up the majority of the player base and it would be great to see the other modes get attention.

I completely agree with other modes having to be on the matchmacking page aswell.
-It wouldn't affect me tho as I use the server browser (Old school I guess).

I actually never tried BR yet, never was a fan of the genre in general.

I doubt that having TDM and DM on the matchmaking page will make it popular. Yes, it'll raise the numbers slightly, but in general, I think that people are playing this game for huge medieval fights.
Not as a 1v1 og 5v5 fighting simulator. I don't atleast :-)

I think it would increase a lot, but you're right it won't become frontline busy. Currently I can play frontline any time of the day, but deathmatch and skirmish only at night on 1 or 2 servers in central EU, matchmaking would 100% improve this.

The server files are public and do not require an account.

Firewall disabled on Manjaro computer, triple checked firewal rules to make sure ports on Windows computer are open and same with router. Forwarding 7777 all, 27015 all, 15000 all, 4778 all, 7787 all, 7781 all and 2720 all.

it was an issue with settings the 27015 port wrong, works perfectly now.

There is enemy and team damage factor options in the BaseGame.ini but I'm not sure how they affect Horde. You can change the map rotation options and default server map option to only have horde maps.
I really hope you're trying to make horde harder cause I've heard its quite easy.

i have the map rotations set including ffa maps for duels, yes i want horde to be 2x if not even 3x more damage, but when we change to play on ffa the damage factor stays which makes us use the training sword to not die in 1 shot.
didn't find anywhere maybe commands that change to a different config when the map changes from horde to ffa and vice versa...

That is not possible, you will need a separate server. Multiple game modes on a single server doesn't really work.
