Side note: May or may not be related. I've recently ~around 5 months ago replaced the motherboard (Old one died not sure how) took a lot of searching and moved form a full form broad to a micro-ATX board. LGA1150 socket boards are surprisingly hard to find. I also have a CORSAIR CX Series CX650 Power supply which i believe to be sufficient for this build.
I run everything on low, I have an I7-3770 3.4GHz GTX970 4G and some random shitty ram. '16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz' Manufacturer Transcend Information ??? I have no idea.
It runs really well MOST of the time. 58-60FPS. occasional out of the blue it'll drop to 11-14 and hold. I had both a resource monitor and task manage open at the same time one of these happened. 25% cpu 40% memory 60% gpu. Temps across the board were <40c. with the GPU being ~55c
Often lasts 15-45 seconds. Alt-tabbing sometimes helps recover.
