Dude, excellent in depth update. TBH something as simple as screen shots or “hey this week we have been working on ‘x’ and are nearing completion” would really keep the community happy.

The last two days I have logged in to find the sound not working. I’ve tried turning my pc volume up and down, I’ve tried muting and unmuting as well as moving the sound sliders up and down in game. Nothing seems to work in regards to this.

For whatever reason, logging in and out of the game does not work but restarting my pc and logging back in to mordhau will correct the issue.

I will update this post later if and when this happens again as I have not yet tested to see if headphones work while the sound is muted.

I was having trouble with FPS in frontline and Roag’s guide really helped boost my fps. Although, after performing about 90% of his suggestions I was still getting stuttering issues both audio and video. Turning FXAA completely off seemed to solve the stuttering issues and now my fps usually fluctuates between 50-60. Sometimes I’ll hit a spike and it will drop into the 40’s but honestly I don’t even really notice it most of the time. Before I followed the guide frontline was basically unplayable. Here’s the link, hope it helps.

Did you lose any purchases you made with gold? Level itself really doesn’t mean anything. Not a big deal tbh unless you lost purchases along side your level.

But you know what’s humiliating? Getting whooped by a level 17 in a duel server

Poster above me suggested turning FXAA off, so I did that just now and played a match on Camp. First at 60 fps lock and I couldn't hold 60 at all. Dropped the lock to 50 and I held it for the most part, but still in any combat I would drop to 43ish. Couple times it skipped hard down to 24.

Again, I'm not good with this stuff. No idea why its doing this. I assume video card.

Turning off fxaa didn’t stabilize my FPS either but it did eliminate all of the visual and audio stuttering that I was getting in frontline.

My FPS is still not entirely stable but adjusting certain settings in game, in the games .ini file and in the games properties definitely helped with FPS drops. They still happen occasionally but I hardly notice them anymore.

Turning FXAA off stopped my video and audio stuttering entirely. Clearing up space on my hardrive also helped a lot with this.

As far as FPS goes, turning off things like head bob, motion blur, setting view distance to low and going in the games .ini file to turn shadows down to zero keeps my FPS stable.

Make sure to double check your storage space. I was having terrible FPS issues after the patch and realized I only had about a gig of storage left on my hard drive. I cleared up space by deleting a few games I don’t play any more and haven’t had any issues since.

Occasionally my fps will still drop after a few games but I think it may be my system getting to be a bit over heated as I play on a laptop. But even in those instances it is still playable and does not cause any major problems.

Try pressing the reset to default button.

If that doesn’t work try banging on your computer that usually fixes faulty electronics.
