Re-installing the game didn't help. The only working solution is sound effects 0, but it's unplayable without sound effects.

I've also had to play with no sound effects. I tried the previously mentioned fix of setting to surround sound which helped (minorly?) but it did not make enough of a difference to warrant having the sounds turned on, while I am actually noticing worse performance after a reinstall. I find it a bit disappointing as apparently there's a lot of audio cues during fighting that helps to predict feints, and I'm left constantly wondering if I keep getting flanked because I'm deaf or bad (or both?).

Hopefully the devs can implement some kind of change soon because I'd really like to play this more.

Yup, without sound effects it's almost impossible to play good. You depend a lot on sound effects.

Btw, have you tried my fix? If you're using an AMD processor, I think this would help a lot because I guess the game does not utilize all cores by default (and AFAIK AMD is about multiprocessing and multithreading, but it sucks a bit when we're talking about performance using 1 thread).

I added -useallavailablecores to my launch options and I haven't had any lag since then. Please try that :)

upd: removed -dx12, it causes crashes.

Oh didnt get the correct meaning of the "p" behind the number. Thought its like the number of "pictures" server processes or whatever like the BF stuff where the servers are like "30Hz" or "60Hz".

I'm not sure what number are you talking about. There's the "Players" column and it doesn't have any p before or after the number :)

So far ive used only the matchmaker for playing. Ill try the server browser. Hopefuly theres a way to distinguish between 48p and 64p servers?

Server List shows Player Count in form of <current players>/<max players> so yeah, you'd distinguish them easily.

In Diablo 3 you can set Sound Channel limit and my guess is that setting limits how much sound effects would be there. I think the stuttering in Mordhau is caused by an unlimited amount of sound effects that hogs the CPU a lot.

At least without sound effects I don't have 1fps drops, though in some intense battles my fps drops a bit.

I'm using my AT2020 USB mic with an audio card built-in so I can't change my sound to 7.1, but I'm going to try disable every other audio source. Hope that helps.

UPD: that didn't help. Still freezes from time to time. Disabling effects helped though, but I can't play like that.

UPD 2: even disabling sound effects doesn't help that much, it still freezes from time to time, but the fps does not drop to 1 but to 10-15.

More times than not, after finishing a game on a Frontline server, we vote to choose which map we go to. It says "server is changing map" then I am put to the loading screen. It loads for a bit, then it returns me to the main menu and displays: "Failed to join server. Server is full. Retrying.." Love the game and what you guys are doing but I have never had this bug with any other game and it really is ruining the experience for me; whenever I get this message I usually stop playing the game.

This should be fixed in Patch #4 (they reserve a slot for you now)

Have you checked the Armory tab? That's the only place where you can see your gold. I thought I didn't receive it either because there's no feedback once you click Accept.

It seems that sometimes I start getting screen tear. I'm not sure why, but I think it might start occurring sometimes after alt-tabbing out of fullscreen. After it starts, it doesn't go away until I restart Mordhau.

V-Sync in Fullscreen or Borderless Window (since you alt-tab) might help.

IIRC I didn't have these problems on Public Build #1, though I've only played Horde at that time.

It's quite hard to play with these random 1sec freezes every 30 seconds.
