it isn't about usefulness. It is like the brawling in ice hockey or the killing spree announcement in all kinds of games. it is fun to watch people getting frenzy.

It is often to see people provoke each other in chat. Why not solve it by the way of the game, a player can challenge one another no matter enemy or not.
A high ground or a tower in the center of the map, people can see the dueling but not intervene it.
And a big announcer for the winner!

Blunt weapons are good at killing heavy armored target but deal less damage to light armor than blade weapons. 2 points axe can one headshot kill a opponent who has no helm but 2 points hammer can't, executioner sword kills a guy by hitting no armored parts with one swing but maul has to hit head to make a one shot kill but maul has shortest reach and slowest windup time and recovery time in all weapons. So in general different weapons are good for killing different armor types.

I have similar problem. Those servers I used to play well now all show packet loss/high packet loss.

I have packet loss problem even in a very low latency server. The server says my latency is 50. But I get packet loss or high packet loss.

Shields are suppose to be good at defense but not in terms of offense. so how about make player moves slower than walking backward when shield is up. In this case shield can't be used as an easy way to get close to attack non-shield player who usually carry two-handed weapons that have range advantage. With better control the range two-handed weapons should face less aggressive from shield and one-handed style players. This should make players with shields play more carefully when about to face multiple attackers

Also, I would like to mention that weapons in this game are only for play style, right? I notice that the cost points for weapons are actually highly based on their real world cost, but shouldn't they based on how powerful they are in game? Short spear or rapier with shields are probably the most effect builds right now , and they only costs 6 to 7 points. I am not saying they are overpower, but they are most effect without a doubt in terms of power and play skill requirement. A badass that with full heavy armor and big two-handed weapons could be cost 20 points, which is more than we currently have, isn't very powerful if you don't have some skill and experience. But they are cool and intimidating, players may like them.

Unfortunately for me it takes far longer than it takes you. Also I wish the server browser doesn't clear its result every time after I join a game since the show recent servers function doesn't work. So I don't have to wait for hours just to find a server.

In server browser it takes like 20 mins to list servers. At the beginning I even thought the game is broken because there is no servers. It looks like the game have to find all servers it can, then show them all at once.
If I am right about it, why not make it shows one server after one. This will certainly make the game more playable.
