I don't think It fits men.
This is a medieval fighting game. Given, we've got renaissance stuff but… I think that's tooo much. Perhaps once they ran out of ideas and need to introduce something new in the game, they'll work on other cultures and time periods. But I wouldn't count on it.

Roman armor and weapons are too old. Things may have changed, but for a long time the devs stated they wanted to pull their weapons and armor mainly from 1150-1550 AD.

I hope they keep that.
It's already quite weird to see renaissance armor mixed with viking era stuff (which means they expanded that time frame a bit) but I definitely don't wanna see romans around.

Hey, Im here to ask for some real XV century gothic armor.

The breastplates they have in the game are not actual gothic breasplates, neither the "gothic" one, or the newer one. Would be cool to see an actual gothic cuirsass (though I acknowledge that the newer one looks cool and it's actually passable)

I wish they added a new sallet. The one in the game is cool, but:
1- The Visor is too small.
2- Sallets do normally have tapering at the sides of the head
3- The beavour is sadly trash.

Here's a well done sallet of the same style. With a magnificent articulated beavour.

Notice that the visor clearly overlaps with the beavour, you should not be able to see the point of the beavour while the carácter is looking fowards.

It may seem a Little nitpicky but once you've seen it it's hard to unsee, and the fact that the beavour looks bad doesn't help.
I hope they give us some good quality German sallet, and the option of wearing it open, but with the beavour on. (Come on that was in the game at some point, it appeared during the tráiler.

The other thing we NEED, is actual good looking leg gear, in general, but specially a new pair of gothic leg harness.
THIS is how it's supposed to look like.

Actual Gothic spaulders or pauldrons would be welcome as well, the ones in the game are either made up, or from maximilian style.

I think I would create it something like R6:Siege. Winning team gets 300 gold coins. Losing team gets 100 gold coins. xp & gold bonus based on your score with some kind of calculations system in place so that it's not 1:1 based on your score. The better you do the faster you earn, & the bonus also gives incentive to win the match, because right now it doesn't seem to matter whether you win or lose, & one team steam rolling another for a quick victory is not desired at all as you get bugger all xp/gold.

I hope it's changed in some way. It doens't feel rewarding

While I don't have any intention in arguing with you dude, I don't think that's an average score. Just look at the entire scoreboard. I was the only one out of 64 players that got that score, and usually top 1's get less tan that. Unless the matchmaking isn't pairing me with good players at all, I don't think that makes sense.
I buy that about time match though since I can't remember how much time did we spent on it.

And they do look way more like fights than the games before this. just because some mid-tier wannabes are pulling out all the stops to try and fool people is not representative of the combat mechanics and does not mean that they have failed to make combat more believable.

Never said it doesn't at all, but the more advanced mechanics make the characters move in an odd way.
Mainly due to leg movement. For instance, the Montante, as someone who does axtually practise montante swordfighting, does actually work more or less like in real life, and even some actual tactics when fighting multiple opponents may work in the game. But some of the anitmations make it look very weird from a third person perspective.

Regardless of it not being an exploit, the devs assured in videos that they aimed for fights looking more like fights, without twirling and weird moves.
Specialized animations for those mechanics, or a more emphasis on footwork would make high level gameplay look better.

I've just finished Two matches, I made it to the TOP 1 (Im a bad player, that's quite an achievement to me) in both of them, and I only gained 480 gold, in BOTH of them.
WTF???
How does this even work? I've managed to get all the way up to 1000 gold in other matches where I wasn't top1, and between 600 and 800 as well.
Have they reduced the amount of gold gained in general? Or it is just fucking random?
In both matches I've managed to acquire near to 6000 points, and I only get 400 gold??? That's BS.

This is a screenshot I took at the second match, just in case. (It's before the end of the match, I managed to do a killing spree and I gained even more points.

Since that's a common method of decoration of the XVI century, it may be.
It's acid etching
The metal is painted with a resistent substance and then submerged in acid. The acid damages the plate where no Paint has been applied and a permament desing remains on the Surface of the armor/weapon.

The decoration for the knightly bastard sword is the same method, combined with gilding. That's based on the weapons of Maximilian the I.
