I don't think he's asking for "Realistic mechanics" but rather "realistic visuals", which is something I support.

I really want this game to be VERY realistic, and it's going in a good way, the only things that have to be fixed that I've seen in this video are the ''rubber armors'', this is a mistake in a lot of games, this means that the armor will bend depending on how the character moves, for example, at 6:40, the left gauntlet made completely out of metal bends like if it was elastic, another thing that has to be added for more realism is that in 0:10 , the player made an horizontal swing, but the arm of the armored knight looked like it was cut by a vertical swing. I have high expectations for this game, and I think Mordhau is going to be very interesting and entertaining to play.

100% realism isn't that fun.

Besides, these things are extremely minor and don't exactly take away from any gameplay - which is the main focus of the game.

I know, the 100% realism is not that fun, but I really like that people pay attention to the minor details, I really like the feeling of the medieval battle, swinging swords, axes, hammers, halberds, maces, daggers... and shooting arrows with different types of bows and crossbows, throwing rocks with catapults, shooting with ballistas, cutting off limbs of the enemies... If it doesn't have those minor details I said, it loses a bit of that immersion into the medieval warfare (well, if it was 100% realistic, someone wouldn't use a bow wearing steel gauntlets, now that I see that, there has to be some equipment restrictions depending on what you wear) A thing I really like from this game is that you can wear different combinations of armor and customize weapons, I really like this type of creativity.
