2 things going on here - cosmetic flinch on targets, and also the weapon getting "caught" in the target momentarily.

To me, that effect looks a bit overdone. Of course I'll wait until the update hits and give it a few hours of testing before recommending a change, but I'm a bit worried it's just overdone a bit. It would be nice to see this in 60fps high res instead.

Even if it is a bit overdone, the difference between the weapon sliding right through someone vs looking like it collided with something solid will make combat that much more satisfying which is something big this game needs atm. Blunt weapons feel great compared to bladed weapons for that reason imo.

Yea like, i originaly said that by the end of june the update would be out and i lost a kidney in the bet and now i'm being pressured to make another bet. I like to keep my internal organs so please devs hurry up.

Woooow that's fantastic! it could be used to literally launch yourself as meat cover against blunt weaponry to protect allies, you could try to kick your oponent or simply be a nuisance that blocks the vision for a bit. If you get say, a shield arm cut off you may be able to try finish the job with weapon arm.
My question is, what happens if a killing blow is dealt to the leg or the head? you fall dead as if you haven't had this perk?

wait... DOUBLE KO IS NOW POSIBLE WITH THIS PERK
