Player with Emoji in name cannot be kicked

It is impossible to type or even paste ❄ into the console so we cannot initiate a votekick on certain players. This means they can get away with teamkilling without any form of punishment greater than some unfriendly mauling to the back of the head in spawn.

I think this issue in particular is one smaller part of a greater problem; the inability to navigate and inspect players from the scoreboard, ala CS:GO, where you could votekick from selecting the player there rather than calling a console function and specifying a variable you cannot type.

Typing playerlist into the console will return a list of players and their Steam ID. You can kick them by Steam ID instead of player name.

Or by simply using the leftmost number on the playerlist output after using it.

Isn't that character level? I swore that was character level. I saw multiple 1s in a game so I assumed that was it and not a player ID number.

Is it? I swear I've used that number. Either way, the steam ID works too.

platyerlist shows playernumber and steamID64, votekick works using all 3.

playerlist

  1. Men1 - 7XXXXXXXX
  2. Men2 - 7XXXXXXXX
  3. Roag - 7XXXXXXXX

-> votekick 3

The other lad is thinking of the scoreboard instead of playerlist

Playerlist leftmost number is the order in which players connected to the server. And it can be used for the kick/ban command
