LuteBot Midi File Share

10 4

Hey

I thought it might be a fun idea to make a midi file share thread since finding files that sound well in-game might be a bit tedious and editing the files yourself might be especially hard if you don't know anything about notes or how to edit midi files.

Essential Software
Official LuteBot 2.0 Thread

Anvilstudio Midi Editor
Alternative Sekaiju Midi Sequencer

MIDI Collection
My collection of midis, most of these won't sound good in game without editing

Collection of Edited Songs by Sumner

Huge Collection of Edited Songs by Seshn

You can also check out Seshn's LuteBot related thread with various resources here:
https://mordhau.com/forum/topic/16313/lutebot-midi-share-and-resources/

I'll keep this post updated and organized. All useful links and songs will be added here for convenience

what program did you use to edit those midi files? also nice work

I use this one. Its ok
http://www.anvilstudio.com/

Important
Apparently the other midi editor (midieditor.org) might contain some harmful thingies and you shouldn't be using it (Use at your own risk)

Can you atleast add fun music?

Not "serious" music?

Add Benny hill, trorlolo song and such, rides of the valkyries

do you have any tricks to make midi files more mordhau friendly?

have to edit them and get rid of tracks so its not playing 20 different instruments

How come when I use a MIDI file of Ride of the valkyries, it goes super fast in the Lutebot, but not when playing the midi on any other application?

It's an excellent idea i personally found a chivalry music made in midi file to work with lutebot : https://www.reddit.com/r/Mordhau/comments/9b7vwf/i_made_a_midi_of_some_chivalry_music_to_be_played/

Here's a bunch of midis I made to work well with lutebot. They're all pretty good, except ride of the Valkyries and imperial march are only good in the beginning. Those songs get annoying past the beginning anyway so I haven't fixed it. The funniest shit to play for me is sad songs on the lute so I made sure I had a few of those. If there are any other really popular songs that would be good, let me know

Songs:
7th element (was a thing on youtube for a while, I think it was some russian song and the dude did crazy shit with his tongue)
Africa - Toto
Phantom of the opera (it's recognizable, not fantastic)
Lion King- Can you feel the love tonight
Canon (idk the key)
Coldplay- Viva la vida
Despacito
Frozen - Let it go (It's just the chorus repeated 4 times)
Game of Thrones Theme
Imperial march
John Lennon- Imagine (best for large fights on a contested point)
Super Mario theme
Mii channel theme
Mortal Kombat theme
Celine Dion - My heart will go on
Nyan cat
LMFAO- party rock anthem
The duck song :)
The final countdown (It sounds ok, kinda breaks down when i put in too many notes per second. The recognizable part of the song repeats and builds up)
Undertale- Megalovania
Ride of the Valkyries (It's alright)
Black eyed Peas - Where is the Love (also good for large fights)
