Hey all, just wanted to make everyone aware of some console commands I found useful.

  • Stat FPS - Shows the FPS counter
  • Slomo x - Chuck a number after this one, it will change the speed of the game. (Slomo 2 for double speed, slomo .5 for half speed). Useful for practicing chambers/drags against bots, but obviously it won't work in multiplayer.
  • PlayersOnly - Freezes all the bots, but lets you keep walking around. This one is a toggle, so enter it again to unfreeze everyone. Again, singleplayer only.
  • ChangeSize x - Another singleplayer only command for obvious reasons, this one changes the size of your character. Yes, you can set it to 100, but I wouldn't recommend it. Also goes both ways, so ChangeSize .5 will put you at half height.

These only the basic ones that I found when messing around there are plenty more, feel free to post anything else that you found useful/interesting.
P.S: I couldn't get godmode, ghost, or fly to work, so if anyone does manage to figure out how, then please do tell (I could just be stupid).

The PlayersOnly isn't working for me.
It says "Command not recognized"

Typing:

god

Is what I believe was meant to work, but does not work at the moment.

If anyone can find commands that display current player speed, current player/camera position, or distance to the object under your crosshair. It would help with the masterthread.

also
r.tonemapper.sharpen 0
to turn sharpening off

For completeness, the like most useful command ever:

  • m.ShowCrosshair 0
to disable crosshair. Needs to be typed again after game relaunch.

There are several more to lookup, prefixed with "m.",
like

  • m.FOV <integer>

Here's a partial? list of admin commands:

  • adminlogin <password> // required to perform any other admin command
  • adminlist // lists current admins
  • adminadd <STEAMID64> // adds a new admin to the adminlist
  • removeadmin <STEAMID64> // removes specified admin from the admin list
  • changelevel <map name> // Changes the map
  • restartlevel // restarts the current map
  • addbots <integer> // adds desired number of bots
  • removebots <integer> // kills desired number of bots
  • kick <user name / steamid64>
  • ban <user name / steamid64)
  • unban <user name / steamid64)
  • banlist
  • slomo <value> // added as an admin command in Alpha build #2). slomo .5 will get you 50% speed. slomo 2 will get you 200% speed.
  • exit // exits Mordhau game program

servertravel might also work, both locally and on a server, but I haven't tested it because changelevel works fine for me.

Note sure if you can do that through the console mid game. At least some UE3 games didn't allow it.

At any rate, changing the default value in line:

DefaultGravityZ=-980.000000

in DefaultEngine.ini should work (I haven't tried it though). To change this locally, make a backup of the file and modify the above file in

\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Mordhau\Mordhau\Config

or

\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Mordhau Dedicated Server\Mordhau\Config

if you want to set up your own server with crazy gravity.

disconnect: disconnects you from the server
exit: closes the game
demorec name: records a demo
demostop: stops a demo
demoplay: plays a demo
To go out of the demo view you need to type disconnect in the console

Would be nice if we can have a working "god mode" or invincible command in local game, so I could practice chambering/drag with bots without any annoying down time due to death/respawn (waiting +5 sec every time).

Devs, perhaps you could add it in Alpha #5?

Oh, and here's one more useful command I haven't seen listed here -

  • m.inverseattackdirection 1

Good for one that want to invert their required attack direction (default is moving toward windup direction for an attack, and command make it so you can just move mouse in direction of your attack).

So your mean in the 240° system? I don't understand the difference between the two "ways" you referred.
Please, elaborate a better explanation.

Thanks in advance.

AFAIK it simply inverts your input when using the directional strike system. To drag from left to right with the default setting, you'd have to flick left and right quickly (while holding down LMB all the way). With this command, you'd need to do the flick right to left instead. Not sure if it also affects up / down directions.
