When you throw a weapon at a wall from a distance usually nothing unusual happens. However, when you throw a weapon at a wall from close range clipping happens.

  • Sometimes the weapon sinks into the wall and is spit back out (sometimes quite a large distance).

  • Other times the weapon gets stuck and half of it hangs out of the wall.

  • The weapons can also go straight through some parts of the walls if you aim in the right place.

(The last part of the video was to show that it seems the further away you are the less common it is for the weapon to clip through a wall.)

I tested this on quite a few walls and I found you could make clipping occur on pretty much all of them. The weapons I tested were the mace, rapier, axe and dagger. Of those it seems it is easier to make the longer weapons clip into walls as I could not reproduce it with the dagger.

Ok so this has been happening a lot to me. I'll try to join an empty server, and then it'll just show me a blank screen with my character on it. Eranox was having this problem too. It only happens when trying to join empty servers.

When you try to connect to a high ping server or one that is not responding, the UI disappears, and you can see your character from the main menu. You can move the camera around freely as if you were spectating a game.

Clipping

  • Two-handed weapons clip through every available shoulder piece.

  • If you go to pick a colour and hit escape, the palette will remain on-screen. Works only while in-game.

To expand on this I have also found that plugging USB headphones in after I launch the game, but before the UE4 logo appears, sound plays through my headphones during the UE4 logo. However, when the main menu comes up the sound switches and plays through the speakers.

Screen flickers green, changing all settings to off or low didnt do anything, v sync just made the green flicker more consistent. If I record or screenshot the screenshots/recordings look normal.
This is the only game I've ever seen epileptic seizure causing green screens. I wish I was joking. I suspect it has to do with nVidia's latest drivers but I havn't rolled them back to test yet. (because I don't know how...)

Intel i5, forget which gen, GeForce GTX 1070, 8gb ram. Using an HDTV for a monitor at 1080p 60hz

Have a similar problem to Foxy's, except in my case it's flickering purple.

The still doesn't portray how annoying the flickering is, and I cannot caputure it with my phone. Apparently, it's flickering at just the "right" rate for it not to be picked up while filming.

Also suspecting new NVIDIA driver.
Specs as reported by dxdiag:

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00 GHz (8CPUs)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980, 4GB VRAM
Monitor: Generic PnP Monitor; mode: 1920x1080 (32bit) (60Hz)
